Ok. Some consider it the worst that can happen. I don't. A year and a half ago looked pretty bad. I had a pain that would not go away. The first doctor told me it was gas and sent me home. The second time I had to go back they had to do more testing. They did the surgery and thought they got it all. HHHmmm. Do the chemo to make sure it cannot come back on you. I did. Half a dozen Cat Scans and Pet Scans later they find something that needs to be removed. There is no time to be sad or anything like that. It is contained. The possibility of chemo after the port has been removed is maybe a disappointment perhaps. The best thing is that we are in the hands of many trained professionals that can do all the good. My prayers are with the knowledge and skills they have and gain over time.
We did not expect to "Move-It" in this fashion. Don't give up on us yet. We are not nearly finished! LeeAnne has done very well with losing about 30 pounds. Lucy cut back on the nuggets and all of us are eating healthy foods and exercise some. So far, nutrition has been the biggest success for our family. I wanted to get out and meet people that blog with us and do some of the walks and maybe train with some distance runners. The blocks in front of us will maybe slow us down for a short time.
