Therefore I question is this where our humanity has taken us?

The original story and other subsequent stories read in the Tulsa World about State of Oklahoma officials rapidly denying a well-meant gift simply because they do not believe in the Muslim religion. Therefore, I question, Is this what our righteously great country has reverted to?

Correct me if I am wrong because as an human, I sometimes make mistakes.

They were not elected to express their personal views when they are representing the Muslims that also live in Oklahoma. Since these public officials have made such a powerful outcry, America should stop expressing the blatant lie that America believes in freedom of religion.  It is obvious that the only freedom of religion the American public will stand up for is their own political denominational Christian beliefs.

I just continue to quietly observe from the shadows. Nevertheless, the day will come when these misused people cry to their God and yours will be heard.

However, unlike most people that live in this Christian and non Christian country, I will not continue to be fooled into thinking that America has changed from the racist 1964 views.

I guess it is just not evident. On the other hand, maybe America has not.

Will anyone whose forefathers received the okay by the real native Americans to legally cross the vast borders of what use to be another group of independent sovereign nations, please raise your literal hand? My enslaved forefathers were forced to migrate over the deep blue ocean chained to the bottom of a smelly crowded slave ship.  Some even fought for justice and freedom, only to return to our unjust shores to themselves be denied - to use your phraseology- their God-given inalienable right not to be lynched from the American Lynching Tree.

Yet, we stamped on our money, the lie that we believe in God.

Therefore, I do not feel any better that some, thank God not all, American politicians have chosen another race to savagely hang from the racist killing political red, white, and blue
American Lynching Tree.

How many more must die before we finally realize this dirt belong to God not us. How many more must we kill before we realize that this dirt was here long before and will be long after we disappear.

I invisibly, quietly wait just inside the shadows. Soon, I will be empower to really be heard.

I guess you did not read, this trial is not in the past it continues to day. There is no statue of limitations on murder. This person is being tryed in federal courts today for his actions against my kin people 40 years pass yesterday. Oh yes, this is one of my mothers relatives that were killed.

Nevertheless you say forget it. Let me hear you tell this to the victims of the Catholic church sex scandal. No you will not because even though that happened years ago, they were white good Caucasian folks and their story deserves to be heard.

However since the characters involved in the story of my ancestor are not Caucasians, then I guess it just should not be heard.

Nevertheless, let me hear you repeat those words to the Jews that are forever searching for the Nazi guards that tortured their forefathers and mothers. Why was those same words by you not said when they finally sent an old SS guard to jail for the crimes he committed during WW2. Oh, I keep for getting, the tone of their skin is much lighter than mine. Therefore their pain, agony and struggle should be heard. Nevertheless since my Afican American forefathers had black skin, the injustice done to them should never be heard.

Please don't post entire articles from other sources.  Such references will be removed due to copyright issues. Generally it is ok to post short quoted portions of articles that you want to reference and add a link to the rest of the article for posters to go to if they so choose.  Also, it is newsgroup protocal to not post entire postings in bold text.  Bold text takes up alot of space on servers, and it also gives the appearance of shouting, which is only used to emphasize small portions of text in a newsgroup post.  Long tedious posts are conducive to also taking up alot of server space.  It is much better to discuss one idea or thought at a time and post a shorter excerpt than to post an extensive lengthy speech.

Additionally, if you read the note at the bottom of the page, "Defamatory, rude or vulgar statements and non-sanctioned advertising will not be tolerated and will be removed from the web site. The author will be blocked from using the site in the future."

I realize many topics can get heated, I do allow for a certain amount of back and forth digs between viewers.  Generally posters here moderate their own posts and work out their own disagreements.  However, if I see a thread or post that is getting out of hand, I will remove the post, and if need be, the entire thread.  Please take that as a gentle hint if a post or thread is removed that something in that conversation needs to take a different direction.
