Obama youth civilian national security force- a requirement??

A video of a 2006 interview with now-Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for
president-elect Barack Obama reveals plans for mandatory induction for all young
adults into a civilian "force."

"If you're worried about, are you going to have to do 50 jumping jacks, the
answer is yes," Emanuel told the interviewer, a reporter who was podcasting for
the New York Daily News at the time.

WND reported last weekend when the official website for Obama, Change.gov,
announced he would "require" all middle school through college students to
participate in community service programs.

However, after a flurry of blogs protested children being drafted into Obama's
proposed youth corps, officials softened the website's wording.

Originally, under the tab "America Serves," Change.gov read, "President-Elect
Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and
will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in under served schools, as
well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps.

"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan
to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and
100 hours of community service in college every year," the site announced.

WND previously reported on a video of a marching squad of Obama youth and
Obama's "civilian national security force," which he said in July would be just
as powerful and well-funded as the U.S. military.

Now comes the Emanuel video, which has been embedded here:

In the interview, Emanuel was questioned whether participants in the proposed
force would live in barracks.

"Somewhere between the age of 18 to 25 you will do three months of training. You
can do it at some point in your college time," he said. "There can be nothing
wrong with all Americans having a joint, similar experience of what we call
civil defense training or civil service."

Emanuel said the planned requiring service "will give people a sense of what it
means to be an American."

He said, of course, the plan at that point was flexible.

"We propose three months [but] at the end of the day [if] someone says it should
be four . I'm not going sit here and hold up [plans]," Emanuel said.

When the reporter questioned the commitment, Emanuel responded, "Guess what. We
have a lot more challenges. We are going to need a lot to do it. If you're
worried about are you going to have to do 50 jumping jacks the answer is yes."

He chuckled at the reporters concerns.

"Rather than figure out if whether you take a train ride or a barrack. . Think
of it this way, it will be a common experience.

"There will be a body of citizens who are ready, capable and trained," he said.

But the plan, especially its demand that Americans participate in a domestic
"force," has been raising questions.

The blogger Gateway Pundit called Obama's plan the "creation of his Marxist
youth corps," and DBKP commented, "'Choosing' to serve should be approved by
parents - not required by the government. No amount of good intentions can
sugar-coat words like 'mandatory,' 'compulsory' or 'required.'"

Emanuel uses his book, "The Plan: Big Ideas for America," to specify that he
would propose, for all Americans ages 18 to 25, that they "serve their country
by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and
community service."

Obama, meanwhile, also has yet to clarify what he meant during his July "Call to
Service" speech in Colorado Springs in which he insisted the U.S. "cannot
continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security
objectives we've set" and needs a "civilian national security force."

What do people think about giving more money to Businesses?
I look at it this way.
Lets say I have a store. Business is bad and no one is buying my product.
The Govt gives me $500,000 for my store.
Why would I use that money to kick out more product when no one is buying and completely drive the price down?
Not to mention the last stimulus fiasco were everyone partied hardy on the money. Why not pump that money back into the tax payers who would actually spend the stuff on things that they need (Hopefully).

McCain alleging ineligibility.

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 10, 2008 - On October 27, 2008,
plaintiff-appellant, Leo Donofrio, a retired attorney acting Pro Se, sued
Nina Mitchell Wells, Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey, in the
Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, demanding the Secretary
execute her statutory and Constitutional duties to police the security of
ballots in New Jersey from fraudulent candidates ineligible to hold the
office of President of the United States due to their not being "natural
born citizens" as enumerated in Article 1, Section 2, of the US
Constitution.

Unlike other law suits filed against the candidates, Berg etc., this action
was the only bi-partisan suit, which sought to have both McCain and Obama
removed for the same reason. (Later, Plaintiff also sought the removal of
Nicaraguan born Roger Colera, the Presidential candidate for the Socialist
Workers Party). The Berg suit will almost certainly fail on the grounds of
"standing", but Donofrio v. Wells, having come directly from NJ state
courts, will require the SCOTUS to apply New Jersey law, and New Jersey has
a liberal history of according standing to citizens seeking judicial review
of State activity.

While raising it as an ancillary issue, Plaintiff in this case didn't rely
upon questioning Obama's birth certificate as the core Constitutional issue.
Rather, he alleges that even if Obama was born in Hawaii, he was born to a
Kenyan national father and is therefore not eligible to be President due to
having dual loyalties at birth and split jurisdiction at the time of his
birth.

The cause of action first accrued on September 22, 2008, when Secretary
Wells certified to county clerks, for ballot preparation, a written
"statement", prepared under her seal of office, that was required by statute
to contain names of only those candidates who were "by law entitled" to be
listed on ballots in New Jersey. The statement is demanded by N.J.S.A.
19:13-22.

The law suit raises a novel contention that the statutory code undergoes
legal fusion with the Secretary's oath of office to uphold the US
Constitution thereby creating a minimum standard of review based upon the
"natural born citizen" requirement of Article 2, Section 1, and that the
Supremacy clause of the Constitution would demand those requirements be
resolved prior to the election.

The key fact, not challenged below, surrounds two conversations between the
plaintiff-appellant and a key Secretary of State Election Division official
wherein the official admitted, twice, that the defendant-Secretary just
assumed the candidates were eligible taking no further action to actually
verify that they were, in fact, eligible to the office of President. These
conversations took place on October 22nd and 23rd.

Plaintiff-Appellant then initiated the litigation process on Monday, October
27th.

Now, post-election, plaintiff is seeking review by the United States Supreme
Court to finally determine the "natural born citizen" issue. Plaintiff
alleged the Secretary has a legal duty to make certain the candidates pass
the "natural born citizen" test. The pre-election suit requested that New
Jersey ballots be stayed as they were defective requiring replacements to
feature only the names of candidates who were truly eligible to the office
of President.

The action was brought as a "Complaint In Lieu of Prerogative Writs" (aka
writ of mandamus) directly to the Appellate Division in NJ. An arduous four
day litigation ended with Judge Sabatino denying plaintiff emergency relief.

Plaintiff then submitted the matter to the New Jersey Supreme the next
morning, and after an emergency review by multiple Supreme Court Justices,
the application for emergency relief was denied.

However, in an incredible turn of events, the NJ Supreme Court specifically
ignored the lower court's five page opinion - such opinion having avoided
the Constitutional question presented - and relied upon "Movant's Papers"
which did discuss and employ Constitutional issues.

This then opened a door to US Supreme Court review. Since "Movant's papers"
are based on a Constitutional issue, it is proper for the US Supreme Court
to review the case.

Plaintiff-appellant prepared the US Supreme Court emergency stay application
over the weekend and then rushed off to Washington DC on November 3rd where
he filed an Application For Emergency Stay of New Jersey ballots, and/or a
stay of the "national election". Plaintiff's terminology is of vital
importance here. Plaintiff's use of the term "national election" includes
all aspects thereof, including the popular vote, full election results, and
the Electoral College process.

Justice Suoter, facing a tough decision in the wake of Obama's landslide
victory, took four days to examine the extensive lower court paper trail and
legal precedents pertaining thereto, but he eventually denied the
application on Nov. 6th, 2008. However, the case is still live, but not for
the reason erroneously listed on the SCOTUS Docket.

It appears Justice Suoter was misinformed by the US Supreme Court Stay
Clerk, Mr. Danny Bickle. A full Petition for Writ of Certiorari is listed as
"pending" on the Supreme Court docket, and such Petition having not been
dismissed by Justice Suoter indicates the serious merits of the case, but
plaintiff-appellant did not make a full Petition, and so its existence is a
procedural fiction. But the case is still live and pending as an Emergency
Stay Application.

Due to the emergent nature of Stay proceedings, plaintiff is entitled - by
law - under US Supreme Court Rule 22 to resubmit the Application for an
Emergency Stay to another Justice of his choice along with a supplemental
letter to accompany the original Stay application. Justice Suoter had right
of first review because he is charged with review of 3rd Circuit actions,
and New Jersey is in the 3rd Circuit.

But now that Justice Suoter has denied the emergency stay with prejudice,
Plaintiff may resubmit the Application For An Emergency Stay of the national
election results and Electoral College meeting to the Honorable US Supreme
Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Furthermore, all nine Justices will be
served on this round, according to Rule 22 which requires Appellant to
submit 10 copies of the original Stay application for the entire Supreme
Court.

A supplemental letter detailing the unorthodox procedural history involved
with this case is being prepared for Justice Thomas to review along with the
prior Stay application. submitted to the SCOTUS.

Instead of making a full Petition for Certiorari, plaintiff-appellant, as to
his Emergency Stay Application, relied on the procedural history in Bush v.
Gore, wherein Bush also chose to fore go a full Petition for Cert., and
instead relied exclusively on an emergency Stay application handed to one
Justice who then empaneled the entire court. The Supreme Court then granted
the Stay, treated the Stay application as a full Petition for Certiorari and
granted that Petition despite the fact that Bush only submitted the one
Application for Emergency Stay. That was done because the urgency of the
situation begged resolve of the national Presidential election. The same
conditions apply here as the clock is ticking down to December 15th, the day
for the Electoral College to meet.

The bi-partisan case progressed quietly through the lower courts with no
publicity as the plaintiff-appellant sought to respect court authority
seeking only to have the "natural born issue" determined once and for all.
He didn't create a web site or request donations. The suit is self
financed.

However, due to some very unorthodox treatment of the case in the NJ
Appellate Division, and also by the US Supreme Court Clerk's office, a press
conference is now being prepared to coincide with the resubmission of the
Stay application to Justice Clarence Thomas.

Follow-up story: Mombasa Imam who confirmed Obama’s birth place arrives in the UK

The Imam who came forward to assist in the search of Barack Obama’s identity left Kenya secretly last night, and will arrive in the UK this morning. He will meet with a US contact person who will assist him in recording an asylum statement in the UK after handing over the documents that caused the blessing of Obama when he was born and to confirm the origin of the name Hussein.

The man will join relatives in the UK because his life will be in danger if he were to return to Kenya after removing the documents from the Mosque’s archives and taking them out of the country. The man has been informed about the on-going case filed in the US Supreme Court by attorney Philip Berg challenging Barack Obama’s citizenship.

When the man heard that Jerome Corsi was in Kenya a few months ago, he took a decision to try and meet him, but had to travel back to Mombasa from Nairobi on hearing that Corsi had been bundled and taken to the airport on deportation orders.

The Imam is the grandson of the late Imam who blessed Barack Obama when he was born in Mombasa on the 4th of august 1961.

While in the UK, the Imam and the American contact person will visit Amnesty International before handing himself over to the authorities where he will formally deliver his application for asylum. The contact man has arranged so that they get an official from Amnesty international to accompany them to the home office desk where he will inform them on he dangers that will face him if he were to return to Kenya after delivering the documents on Obama.

This may now bring to close the speculations on Obama’s citizenship and the secrecy on where he was born.

API will dispatch a detailed letter in support of the Imam’s - application for asylum and protection - to the UK Home Office Secretary later today. The letter will be made available on the site here, but minus the names of the Imam.

"Islamic Finance 101"

Thursday's "seminar for the policy community" is entitled "Islamic Finance 101." It will be held in Treasury's headquarters building next to the White House and - judging by the slated speakers - it will amount to little more than a vehicle for promoting Shariah-Compliant Finance. Apparently, there will be no discussion of the seditious nature of Shariah, which explicitly seeks to destroy the government and Constitution of the United States in favor of a global theocracy.

Incredibly, in recent days, the U.S. Treasury Department has begun embracing Shariah-Compliant Finance. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Robert Kimmitt has professed an interest in “studying the salient features of Islamic banking to ascertain how far it could be useful in fighting the ongoing world economic crisis.” According to a press report out of Saudi Arabia, he has declared that “experts in the Treasury Department are currently learning the important features of Islamic banking.”

To this end, the Treasury Department is hosting in its headquarters building on Thursday, November 6^th a “seminar for the policy community” entitled “Islamic Finance 101.” This event is being co-sponsored - and, it would appear, orchestrated - to promote Shariah-Compliant Finance by one of America’s leading promoters of the industry: the Islamic Finance Project at Harvard Law School. Harvard has benefitted from the infusion of millions of dollars from a Wahhabi Saudi prince and his government. Such funds are evidently translating into its fealty to the Islamist agenda and the promotion of Shariah and SCF by Harvard professors such as Frank Vogel (who will preside at the Treasury seminar).

Communists Celebrate Obama Win

Latin American communist leaders, including a murderous dictator and a Marxist guerilla, are thrilled that Barack Obama will be the next U.S. president and several in the largely socialist region were quick to offer congratulations.

The enthusiasm is not surprising considering that two of the region’s most prominent communists—Cuba’s Fidel Castro and Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega—officially endorsed the Illinois senator during his lengthy presidential campaign. Others such as Bolivia’s Evo Morales and Brazil’s Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva also backed Obama’s presidency early on.

Castro, the world’s longest ruling dictator, suggested that if Obama teamed up with Hillary Clinton the ticket would be unbeatable and Ortega, the head of the Marxist Sandinista Liberation Front, praised Obama as a revolutionary phenomenon who will advocate for millions of Central American and Mexican citizens who migrate to the U.S.

Obama is also a favorite of Latin America’s radical Marxist terrorist group known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (or its Spanish acronym FARC). Evidence seized during a Colombian military raid in March revealed FARC leaders were rooting for Obama because they were certain he would help them after moving into the White House.

This week the entire region is rejoicing, especially Venezuela’s ardent anti-U.S. leader Hugo Chavez, who recently purchased sophisticated weapons from Russia and is working with that country to harm the United States. Castro, who has murdered and incarcerated millions who oppose his regime, says Obama is more intelligent, cultured and composed than his Republican rival, who he calls old, bellicose, uneducated and not very intelligent.

I watched a totally funny scene last night on Boston Legal where Denny Crane and Alan Shore got into a political argument ending in them shooting each other with paint ball guns til they were both covered with paint! Their argument consisted of just about every political pro/con argument I think each side has had in both their defense and what they accused the other side of... halarious.

Have you ever gotten into a political discussion that turned out similarly? :)

Has anyone noticed that ther are more than "two" canidates running for Pres.?

For some reason we in Ok are "not allowed" to make a choice and that the "choice" has been made for us. Some one must think that we are incapable of thinking for ourselves. We should "write-in" who ever we want any way! I don't want someone else making that decision for me

Did anyone see the McCain-Obama debate? I thought Senator McCain won handily. Wasn't really expecting it either. Senator Obama has seemed such a charismatic speaker up until this point, but obviously knows little to nothing about foreign policy. McCain took over the foreign policy issue and Obama seemed very flustered. I think anyone on the fence will vote for Senator McCain after viewing the debates. I would have liked to see Senator McCain engage Senator Obama with a bit more ferocity and eye contact, but his subject knowledge was far more advanced than his opponent's. Oklahoma will be an easy win for Senator John McCain.

You can go to school for LAW, study the CONSTITUTION and study about CONGRESS, that is all good, but it doesn't make you a "LEADER" of any country. Lawyers go to school, they start out at the bottom of their profession, some later on become JUDGES, they don't jump right in as the "PRESIDENT" of the "UNITED STATES." When you QUESTION a person about what they can offer, they don't need to ask another PARTY MEMBER, what to do, and receive an EXTRA HIGH DOLLAR FIGURE, (MONEY), when everyone else is doing the work, while they take the CREDIT for it. What experience does OBAMA have to RUN AMERICA?, all I see is TALK, TALK and TALK. What are some of your Opinions on this subject? Say, you go to several colleges, when you get out, does that QUALIFY you to start out at the TOP of any business, let alone the Leader of a country? (cricket)

Oh My!! I don't want to vote for either candidate!
