Another OHP lie caught on video (not seen on FOX)

"The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there will be no disciplinary action against a trooper seen in a television news video punching a man in the back as the man lay face down while being arrested.

The incident came at the end of a chase in which Christopher Harrell was arrested. Troopers say Harrell had sped away from an attempted traffic stop before he turned around and went back in the direction of the troopers.

The KWTV video shows Harrell getting on the ground as troopers approached. One put his knee on Harrell's back and later punched him once in the back.

The trooper's name hasn't been released.

Lt. George Brown says the trooper told Harrell three times to give him his arm to be handcuffed and when Harrell failed to do so the trooper responded as trained with the punch."

Did the trooper even have time to make three demands before punching the guy?
The guy even drove back to police and laid down without being ordered, obviously surrendering, and yet the trooper said he was resisting?

This we do know,every time the police show up and murder someone they scream "they were on drugs".
I know people that take drugs,I work in a pharmacy where you see all the drug addicts with their prescriptions.This where the real drug abusers are.Maybe I will call the police,some of them need to be put out of their misery.

Veto Senate Bill 1102

Passed by both the Oklahoma house and senate, Senate Bill 1102 would require DNA to be collected from almost anyone at the whim of police.
Currently, only convicted felons have their DNA harvested, but this overreaching law would allow people simply arrested on bogus charges like "resisting arrest" to surrender DNA without any due process.

Since the governor seems to be the only sane one left at the state capitol, he should veto this law before it becomes another expensive tool of police abuse.

Cop's home invaded

FOX23 did the story but it isnt on the website yet.
Seems a TPD reserve cop took some shots at some burglars that kicked in his door (which sounds like a step in the right direction IMHO) but might be in trouble because he kept on shooting at the suspects as he chased them down the street.

The "make my day" laws allow you to use that kind of force to protect yourself inside your home, but once they are outside and no loinger a threat youre supposed to stop shooting.

but TPD is keeping the cops identity a secret and may be spinning the story to make it look like the fleeing burglar "made a threatening move" outside, which is copspeak for "anything's justified now".

I applaud going after the scum that kicked in his door, but at the same time Im certain if the homeowner had been anyone other than a cop they would be in hot water for all the shooting that was done outside.
Reporters should be asking some tougher questions rather than cooperating with what might look like a cover-up of the officers errors.

Bill Aims to Toughen Penalties for Home Invaders

They kick in doors and terrorize the people inside. They are home invaders. And now there's an effort underway in Oklahoma to put them behind bars for a longer period of time. FOX 23’s Douglas Clark has more.

It was 3am on December 23^rd when three armed teenagers broke into a North Tulsa house and shot a woman. The homeowner returned fire, killing one of the teens. It was just one of 16 Tulsa home invasions in December alone. So far this year, there have been 12. That’s why state lawmakers want to increase the penalties for convicted home invaders.

House Bill 1030, introduced by state Representative John Wright of Tulsa, would increase the minimum prison time for home invaders from seven to ten years. And those convicted would have to serve at least 85% of their sentence before being eligible for parole.

“I’m all in favor of it. I think most of the penalties for infractions are a little lax. And if somebody breaks into a home, they deserve what they get,” says Claremore resident Steve Morrison.

But others worry that with prisons already over-crowded, state lawmakers should be focusing their attention elsewhere.

Our justice system at it's best

Hello everyone. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted on here, it's been very trying these last 3 months. Anyways, as some may remember I was involved in a fatal accident on August 20th where my wifes uncle was killed riding his motorcycle. After almost 4 months and the fact that the suspect in this case had 3 records of driving reckless. This is what our lovely justice system thought was appropriate.

Let's face it, this guy will probably not do any time at all. His fine will probably be less than the $1,000. His insurance company is refusing liability. And, who's stuck paying the bills? That's right, the victims in this case. It's a wonder that more and more people are taking the law into their own hands when you have crappy justice systems such as this one in place to protect you.

A history of driving reckless and finally killing someone nowadays gets you a slap on the wrist. Geez, I hope he learns his lesson(sarcasm). The justice system in Cherokee County, Oklahoma just plain blows.

Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide in a rural part of Tulsa County between Mannford and Sand Springs.
The County Sheriff’s Office was notified this morning, around 7:00am, of a 50 year old man found dead on the front lawn of his home. Neighbors in the area reported hearing gunshots last night around 11pm. The death is now being investigated as a homicide.
Drugs and drug paraphanalia were found in the home. Neighbors said the deceased was known for selling drugs.
FOX23 News has crews on the scene. Stay tuned for more information on this breaking news situation.

We have our cops in the school and adding more. Just like other schools, Tulsa follows suit, the kids are now taking there issues to the streets. This time, They were caught.
Were are the cops that we hired? Why, there in the school waiting for the kids to be there to protect them! Not the polices fault but there not cutting the crime (Not there responsibility anyways), there just setting up Detours and having the crime go elsewhere.

Police Reporting

Dont you just love the slant some of the stations give to police reporting?

Last night a speeding police car broadsided a family in a pickup, and after you have read about how the officer had a bloody nose do you get to the bottom of the story where it mentions the three kids and the wife transported to the hospital.
Sort of lopsided, I guess, but that's what you get when you just re-write what the Public Information Officer gives you. Seems like we're afraid to ask the hard questions sometimes.

Cinciinnati Ave. $838,000 has been obtained fraudulently through the food stamp program at the store since January 2005. The owner, Zobair Enwar Baig, pleaded guilty to receiving 50% of the transactions. Among those facing state charges of trafficking in food stamps is: Kristina Lea Brammer, 35; she received $3, 767 since 2005 according to court records. Others charged with the amounts of $1000.00-$3000.00, are: Markisha Melinda Bell, 27; Jane Bisesi,43; Teresa Lynn Boyd,41; Charlotte F. Brown,45; Cynithia Renee Decoss,25; Cassandra Denise Hall, 44; Poreshia Lashay Irons,23; Rhonda Elaine Jordon, 44;Shaneka Shantay Mitchell,28; Rhonda Rochelle Pearson,43; Pamela Denise Taylor,49; Ebony Jo Todd,30; Herman Lee White,56; and Reginald Dwayne Williams,36. The desk officer who spoke with the doctors wife was the same one who would not send an officer when I called about vandals breaking into a house on my street. The doctor is being sued by the parents of the kids who were ringing his doorbell all night long. They were probably checking to see if anyone was home so they could burglarize him. The wife called TPD and begged for an officer but was told repeatedly none was available. I THINK WE NEED TO CALL CITY HALL ENMASSE AND DEMAND THAT THIS DOCTOR BE EXONERATED FOR BEING FORCED BY AN INDIFFERENT POLICE FORCE TO TAKE MATTERS INTO HIS OWN HANDS. We need to get involved in this crime wave being perpetuated by these little thugs, we need to send a message to parents that if they wish to protect their errant kids, that discipline before the fact is the only way we as citizens are going to allow it to happen.I am sick to death of this behavior and hearing kids will be kids. LETS TAKE BACK CONTROL

The complex got our landlord to evict the local crackhead so she came back to set the complex on fire.
As usual the Fire Dept got there and had it out before I got outside with my camera. Whats that, the 4th photo shoot they ruined? At least I have renters insurance, sheesh! No smoke damage or anything to any of the Apartments. Everyone is safe.
And no, the police in the picture weren't hanging out, they where waiting for the fire investigation to decide what to do next.

Custer County Sheriff Mike Burgess is facing a possible 467 years in jail for his " Sex Slave" operation. He has in all 35 felony charges, 14 counts of second degree rape, 7 counts of forcible sodomy, and 5 counts of bribery. Mike Burgess has been in office since 1994, makes you wonder if all the charges have been disclosed as yet, in that length of time you gotta know there are a whole lot more people who have stories to tell. The story of the man shot 5 times, and the pregnant lady run over at the bus stop really stops me in my tracks. I cannot believe people care so little or are so afraid they won't speak up when they see another human being savagely attacked and often destroyed. The man knows who shot him, and someone saw that car veer off the road to run over that pregnant girl. What is wrong with people? Do they think they are somehow helping the police personally if they speak up? Are they really willing to take the chance on their loved ones being the next target rather than speaking to the cops? You don't have to like the police, or trust them completely, but should'nt you at least like and trust them more than the cold blooded psychopathic loonies who are out there to hurt you and your family? If anyone has any enlightenment on how people can sleep or look at themselves in the mirror after witnessing these crimes and not helping the families of these victims, could you please tell me so I will understand. SHAME ON YOU COWARDS, " he who does not try to stop injustice will become it's next target."

Did you all see the article about the little fracas on 61st st. last night? Police responded to a call concerning a man with a gun taking shots at his neighbor with whom he had been in a dispute. TPD and SWAT responded, the man ran into an apartment, the police cleared out the place, 45 officers in all spent 5 hours holding this guy at bay in an apartment, surrounded the whole complex, the only problem was, the guy was gone, they were surrounding nothing but empty apartments,and they didn't get him, have no idea where he went, if he is still armed or what he will do next. Cost the city $15,000 for that 5 hours of (heh heh) POLICE WORK....? The guy weighed 160#, so I figure if you put that into commodity terms, it cost the city $93.20 per pound for a $15,000 package of meat they lost before they could get it home. Is it any wonder we have so much crime?

SO the man who lost his son because the childs stepfather killed him burried his son today.

"After the graveside service, Moore and some of the funeral party went to the DHS office in Claremore for a prayer. Moore says they were kicked off the property."

The attitude that Rogers County has for child abuse IS why we have kids dying. This case and my own daughters case were ignored. They simply do not care that real abuse is happening. The D.A. has not and most likely will not even look at the medical records in my case. They simply tossed it out the SAME day this kid was killed. It's about time to start filing class action law suits for ignored cases that have fatal consequences.

Should Child Rapists Be Put to Death?

Ok guys... if you are up on current events this topic is in the news and in court today. DO you think child rapists should be put to death? My very first instinct is HELL yes! Then I started really thinking it over. We have so many kids crying rape and so forth today when it isn't true. I've seen a few cases and heard a few cases of such. Then there is the fact that a VERY large percentage of child rapists are family members or close friends of the victim. To have that person put to death although justified would yet again scar the child and so forth. Then there is the issue of the non reporting. It is not reported now as much as it should be and would this, if passed, mean even more non reporting? I really want thoughts on this. This is a heavy one guys. Really think it over.

Did you all read the account of the registered sex offender they found lying on the grass in River Parks wearing nothing but his boots? HAHAHAHAHAHA I know people like that are scary, but it is so funny too! I have to wonder if he hadn't just been to the casino, or maybe lost a game of strip poker! LOL He must have looked like a giant chicken waiting for the roasting pan! Good thing the Chiggers aren't out yet, he would have been wearing some bumps as well as his boots,( or worse, poison ivy.) Read an article on another news site(Channel 6) about a Tulsa cop who was injured in 1999 by Marcus Taylor. From 1999 to 2008 Marcus Taylor has been arrested again and again, at least 7 convictions for every kind of crime imaginable from drugs, robbery, burgulary, assault and battery, each time he has received an early release, only to commit another crime and be sent back to jail, then be released years early once more. My question is this: How would you vote on a 3 strikes and you're out law? Do you think our crime rate would go down significantly if these repeat offenders were left in jail? What do you think needs to be done about these sociopaths? Your thoughts.......

Heres the story: There is a large empty house for sale on the corner from me. I can see only the back and north side well from my home, but can see the south east corner some also. For the past year, my daughter and I have been watching a herd of Rogers High school kids, mostly male, walking up the street by our house, every day, and going into the empty home, staying there for a couple of hours, then leaving, I suppose to go back to school. Now it doesn't take too much imagination to know that they are getting high in that house. So we started to call the police whenever we saw them, of course the police never got there until the kids had left. Then, last week, I saw six of them go into the house, so I called police, the female officer on duty treated me like I was a nuisance, and she didn't have time to talk to me. She actually yelled at me over the phone, grilling me like I was the criminal. Finally, I said, "You know what, I am apparently wasting your time and mine, I am sorry I bothered you, forget I called, OK? Maybe you will have time to take the arson report when these kids burn it down", Then I hung up. Pi**ed me off! On the positive side, they did send an officer, she drove up on the north side, and I saw the kids jump out the window on the south side and run like crazy. I went up and told her what I saw, she walked around the house some, didn't believe I saw the kids run from the south side, stopped just short of calling me a liar, until I found the basement window broken out on the south side. So she hung around for awhile, another officer came to the scene, and they found one of the little buggers hiding in the basement closet, guess he didn't have time to get out, or was too stoned. I try to be a good citizen, especially if something is happening in my neighborhood, and report it, I "strongly encourage" others to report crime as well, but when you are treated like crap by some angry, PMS woman who hates her job, it really doesn't make you too eager to call police. They need to develop some rapport with the citizens, maybe we could clean up some crime if people had a little respect for them, and that officer I spoke with, needs to be removed from answering a phone for any reason, any time period.
