led to a bust in Mayes County. Deputies arrested 10 undocumented
construction workers. But the arrests are already stirring up
controversy.

The News On 6's Jeffrey Smith reports deputies say
it was one of the biggest illegal worker busts on record for them. But
Hispanic leaders say it sets a dangerous precedent and it all comes
down to how you interpret a controversial phrase of a controversial law.

Oklahoma's
tough new immigration law allows police to arrest immigrants if they
can't show documentation. It's one of the toughest in the country.

"We actually questioned 13 people, we arrested 10 for being undocumented," said Mayes County Sheriff Frank Cantey.

An anonymous caller on Wednesday told Mayes County sheriff's about illegal workers in Salina at the new middle school.

"We've had one or two before, but this is the first time we've had a large number, as large a number as this," said Cantey.

MORE

HB 1804 Blocked

.&amp;amp;lt;SCRIPT

anti-immigration bill will not become a reality this year.
Representative Randy Terrill decided to stop pursuing the bill which
covered several immigration issues to focus on just one issue. The
News On 6's Amy Lester reports he wants to make English Oklahoma's
official language.

Representative Randy Terrill believes it's
so important that he wants to amend the state constitution to make
English Oklahoma's official language.

"We want to make
sure as the official entity of the State of Oklahoma that our language
is declared to be English and that shall be the language in which we
shall conduct our business," said Representative Randy Terrill.

That
would mean no more state documents printed in other languages, no more
driver's license tests in Spanish and no obligation for many state
agencies to provide translators.

This late in the session,
Terrill has a strategy to push his bill through. Once a totally
separate senate bill passes and moves to the house, he'll completely
gut it, and turn it into his English language bill. The move would
allow the measure to skip committee altogether.

"It saves on
some of the procedural and technical difficulties and makes sure that
we get a clean up or down vote in the Senate as to whether English
should be our official language," said Representative Randy Terrill.

Not everyone's on the same page as Representative Terrill.

"We
should help people to assimilate and we don't help them assimilate if
we just close our door," said Representative Al Lindley.

Lindley opposes making English our official language. He says it gives our state a bad name.

"I don't think making Oklahoma the butt joke of the universe is productive to Oklahoma's image," said Representative Lindley.

Representative Terrill explains 30 states have already done this. He insists Oklahoma should, too.

Since
the proposal requires changing the Oklahoma Constitution, if Terrill's
bill passes, it would then go to a vote of the people this fall.

Representative Terrill says he'll address the other anti-immigration issues he planned to include in the bill next year.

link

Dems Discussing 5-Year Amnesty Plan

Report: Dems Discussing 5-Year Amnesty Plan
02-17-2008

A spokesperson for the grassroots immigration organization Numbers USA says House Democrats are having behind-the-scenes discussions about creating a special visa for illegal immigrants -- a proposal they believe will enjoy considerable Republican support.

As part of its stated mission to support what it calls "comprehensive immigration reform," the Congressional Hispanic Caucus desires "a tough, fair, and workable path to legalization for the undocumented." The website for the group argues that "the only practical and humane solution is to set up a program that gives individuals a chance to come out of the shadows, register with the government, submit to security screenings, pay restitution, learn English and U.S. civics, and maintain a clean work and criminal record."

Rosemary Jenks is director of government relations for Numbers USA. She has learned that members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are spearheading the effort to approve a plan that would allow any illegal alien living in the United States to simply prove they have a job, pay a fine, and pass a background check, to receive the gift of legal status for five years.

The five-year visa plan would be attached to a bill that would increase the number of temporary workers in the hopes of getting Republican support, she says. Jenks contends this is an attempt to stall the deportation of illegal immigrants until they can get full amnesty.

"Rahm Emanuel [a Democratic congressman from Illinois] has said publicly that he doesn't believe that they will be able to get the full-scale amnesty passed until the second term of the next president," she states. "That, of course, puts it right about five years from now. So the hope of the Caucus is that they can this so-called temporary visa -- a five-year visa for illegal aliens -- passed, and then when they're able to they can get the full-scale amnesty."

Jenks supposes that Democrats are afraid that should either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama be elected president this year, passage of an amnesty plan during a first term would likely preclude the Democratic president from being re-elected for a second term.

Thursday , March 27, 2008

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. —

A judge known for creative sentencing has ordered three Spanish-speaking men to learn English or go to jail.

The men, who faced prison for criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, can remain on parole if they learn to read and write English, earn their GEDs and get full-time jobs, Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. said.

The men, Luis Reyes, Ricardo Dominguez and Rafael Guzman-Mateo, plus a fourth defendant, Kelvin Reyes-Rosario, all needed translators when they pleaded guilty Tuesday.

"Do you think we are going to supply you with a translator all of your life?" the judge asked them.

The four, ranging in age from 17 to 22, were in a group that police said accosted two men on a street in May. The two said they were asked if they had marijuana, told to empty their pockets, struck on the head, threatened with a gun and told to stay off the block.

Attorneys for the men said they were studying the legality of the ruling and had not decided whether to appeal. One of the attorneys, Ferris Webby, suggested that the ruling was good for his client, Guzman-Mateo.

"My client is happy," Webby said. "I think it's going to help him."

The judge sentenced the four men to jail terms of four to 24 months. But he gave the three men, who already had served at least four months, immediate parole. Reyes-Rosario remains imprisoned on an unrelated drug charge.

Olszewski ordered the three to return with their parole officers in a year and take an English test. "If they don't pass, they're going in for the 24 (months)," he said.

Olszewski is known for outside-the-box sentencing.

He has ordered young defendants who are school dropouts to finish school. He often orders defendants to get full-time employment. But he also has his staff coordinate with an employment agency to help them find the jobs.

What do you think? Is this article accurate or is it not telling us the entire picture?

=================================================

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America?

Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a
column titled, 'Mexican Visitor's Lament' -- 10/25/07 .

She interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while
visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, 'They (illegal aliens) pay rent,
buy groceries, buy clothes...What Happens to your country's economy if 20
million people go away?' That's a good question - it deserves an answer.
Over 80 percent of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration
stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America?
The answers may surprise you!

In California , if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico,
it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems,
bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner,
safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English
became the dominant language again.

In Colorado , 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and
grand-kids - would move back 'home', mostly to Mexico . That would save
Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 billion) annually
in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration
costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the
terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver
Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered
death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent
drop-out/flunk-out rate because of thousands of illegal alien students
speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from
our gridlocked cities in Colorado .

Denver's four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working
poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

In Florida, 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State
back to America , the rule of law, and English.

In Chicago , Illinois , 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals,
schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free
experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home' --

If 20 million illegal aliens returned 'home', the U.S. Economy would
return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a
living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they
wouldn't be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401
Billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for
local, state and city coffers.

No more push '1' for Spanish or '2' for English. No more confusion
in American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that
degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools
would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in
ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of
more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who
distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.

In cities like L.A. , 20,000 members of the ' 18th Street Gang' would
vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from
Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded
highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American
deaths by illegal aliens!

America's economy is drained. Taxpayers are harmed. Employers get
rich. Over $80 billion annually wouldn't return to the aliens' home
countries by cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money
untaxed, which further drains America's economy - which currently suffers an
$8.7 trillion debt.

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country,
costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in
California , Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being
bankrupt out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act.

Americans wouldn't suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases
rampant in our country-brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and
grid locking our cities. It would also put the 'progressives' on the horns
of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11 percent of our
greenhouse gases.

Over one million of Mexico's poorest citizens now live inside and
along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego , California in what
the New York Times called, 'colonias' or new neighborhoods. Trouble is,
those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty,
filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without
sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation.
The New York Times reported them to be America 's new ' Third World' inside
our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect
20 million residents of those colonias. (I've seen them personally in Texas
and Arizona ; it's sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing
our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico .

We should invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own
countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We already invite a million
people into our country legally more than all other countries combined
annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy
within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.
It's time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our
way of life.

Interesting Statistics. Here are 14 reasons illegal aliens should
vacate America, and I hope they are forwarded over and over again until they
are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them:

        1. $11 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare
to illegal aliens. http://tinyurl.com/zob77

        2. $2.2 billion dollars are spent each year on food assistance
programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal
aliens. http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

        3. $2.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal
aliens. http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

        4. $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary
school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of
English! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        5. $17 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the
American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        6. $3 Million Dollars PER DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal
aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        7. 30% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        8. $90 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for
welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

        9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are
caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

        10. Just heard on the news about a prayer group getting together to pray for these people. Let me get this straight in my mind, they are going to pray for law breakers? When these people came to this country they knew they should register and didn't, they knew that they were breaking the law and now they want us to pray that they can continue to be legal crimanals? If they want to stay here then do the right thing quit crieing and feeling sorry for yourselves. What ever happened to America? Let's see, why not go back to the original immigrants. David

Can you pass the 8th. grade exam?

By Devona Walker
Staff Writer
TULSA — Nowhere in the state has the immigration battlefield been more bloodied than in Tulsa. And nowhere has the exodus of Hispanic immigrants been more pronounced. Those on both sides of the argument say enforcement has been fueling the fire.
");
//-->

The Tulsa County sheriff's office is the only law enforcement agency in the state to have officers trained to enforce federal immigration laws. It has detained and helped to deport more than 1,000 illegal immigrants since July.

The Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce estimates that between 15,000 and 25,000 Hispanic immigrants have left the city in the last few months. Hispanic religious leaders there say they have seen their congregations reduced roughly by half.

"Some people think it's a federal issue, but so is robbing a bank. You just don't ignore it when you see it happening, if you are law enforcement,” said Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz, who has 30 officers dually trained in enforcing federal immigration law. Since July, when training was completed, his department has been delivering an average of 85 illegal immigrants per month to the Department of Homeland Security for deportation.

Arrests made by Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies have resulted in a decline in the jail population of about seven percent, or 100 inmates. Glanz says federal immigration law gives him an additional tool to get undesirables off the street.

"We are identifying and removing what we call frequent flyers, people we consider major criminals,” Glanz said, adding that he has been surprised by hesitation from other law enforcement agencies.

A huge case of human trafficking hits Muskogee County.
Deputies there say they swept up 42 illegal immigrants this week.

The
Muskogee Sheriff's Office says through its interdiction team they're
focusing on bigger crimes through that corridor near Webster Falls.

Police say they're finding handfuls or more of illegal immigrants, lying on top of each other, trying to hide for cover.

Deputies say without proper documentation they're getting deported.

A Muskogee County Deputy sited the driver of one truck weaving in and out of lanes on I40.

He pulled them over and wrote them more than just a traffic ticket.

"It was full on the inside," says Deputy Jim Williams.

In fact fifteen illegal immigrants were crammed inside the ford F-150.

“The problem is just not in Muskogee. The problem is everywhere so they need to do stuff about it too," says Kellen Smith of Muskogee.

Deputies agree, if the state can't make tougher immigration laws then its up to the feds to create tougher borders.

"You can go anywhere on a major highway and find what we found this week," says Deputy Williams.

However,
deputies have said if it weren't for immigration customs enforcement or
ICE they'd have a tougher time battling illegal immigration.

"If
we would have pulled the same vehicle over we would have to call INS,
we would have been sitting on the side road for a couple hours trying
to out can we take these people in," says Deputy Williams.

Deputies with the Muskogee Sheirff's Office say they'll be training with ICE at the end of the month.

Right now ICE says the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is the only department in the state who has ICE training.

FOX23.com

But that shouldn't matter, since Oklahoma and other states will get what they want. You calculate the figures: 12 million immigrants, $92.00 per day in detention per person, at least 32 days in detention, plus approximately $1,000.00 to return each immigrant = , some take the bus, but others fly out of the country, so it could possibly be more, pretty close to $100 billion dollars. You will need to times all the figures above to come close to your total, then wait for the other charges added to the $35 billion to secure the border, there is costs in locating all the illegals and court costs also, to add to these figures. Americans need to really work their Bu**s off to pick up this tab, and don't forget the billions of dollars for this war also... this info. came from Washington (CNN). http://fairimmigration.wordpress.com you will need to click on a couple of sites to pick up all of the extra info. CNN latest facts and figures also from ICE.
Not even law yet and it is working well. An estimated 20,000 illegal immigrants have left Oklahoma. That is more tax dollars going to legal citizens, more room in the schools and more room at the Emergency rooms. This is a win / win situation. Funds reaching the people who meet the requirements ( LEGAL ) . I can’t believe the Hispanic leaders in Tulsa are trying get H.B. 1804 deemed unconstitutional. If you are legal you get the funds, if not you get to go back to your own country and apply for citizenship like you should have in the first place. H.B. 1804 is one of the best things to happen to Oklahoma, and other states are going to have the same law very soon when they see the economic benefit for the state.

from the Hispanic community gathered Sunday to support one another and

while this was going a few miles away a mother and her two children sat
at home wondering if they will ever see their father and her husband

-

Therefore I question is this where our humanity has taken us?

-

The original story and other subsequent stories read in the Tulsa World about State of Oklahoma officials rapidly denying a well-meant gift simply because they do not believe in the Muslim religion. Therefore, I question, Is this what our righteously great country has reverted to?

-

Correct me if I am wrong because as an human, I sometimes make mistakes.

-
They were not elected to express their personal views when they are representing the Muslims that also live in Oklahoma. Since these public officials have made such a powerful outcry, America should stop expressing the blatant lie that America believes in freedom of religion. It is obvious that the only freedom of religion the American public will stand up for is their own political denominational Christian beliefs.

-

I just continue to quietly observe from the shadows. Nevertheless, the day will come when these misused people cry to their God and yours will be heard.

-

However, unlike most people that live in this Christian and non Christian country, I will not continue to be fooled into thinking that America has changed from the racist 1964 views.

-

I guess it is just not evident. On the other hand, maybe America has not.

-

Will anyone whose forefathers received the okay by the real native Americans to legally cross the vast borders of what use to be another group of independent sovereign nations, please raise your literal hand? My enslaved forefathers were forced to migrate over the deep blue ocean chained to the bottom of a smelly crowded slave ship. Some even fought for justice and freedom, only to return to our unjust shores to themselves be denied - to use your phraseology- their God-given inalienable right not to be lynched from the American Lynching Tree.

-

Yet, we stamped on our money, the lie that we believe in God.

-

Therefore, I do not feel any better that some, thank God not all, American politicians have chosen another race to savagely hang from the racist killing political red, white, and blue
American Lynching Tree.

-

How many more must die before we finally realize this dirt belong to God not us. How many more must we kill before we realize that this dirt was here long before and will be long after we disappear.

-

I invisibly, quietly wait just inside the shadows. Soon, I will be empower to really be heard.

-

As always God bless each of us,

Don't get mad at the truth, just change your actions.

Edit by the Moderator

Unfortunately, it was the organized homicidal gang called the<snip>.

Just this moring on the broadcast I hear about employers who are willing to pay illegals cash money, therefore not paying FICA & FUTA taxes. Well my opinion on that is I am a American Citizen and I can't tell you how many times I have been asked to work for cash under the table. I know of many women, who are American Citzens, that have cleaning businessess and receive cash for their services. They do not claim there income so that way they don't have to pay taxes on what they recieve. It's not just illegals its Americans as well. I am tired of hearing people blaming all of this on illegals. Illegals have to pay taxes. They can not walk into a store and walk out without paying taxes. When they purchase a house or a car they pay taxes. When they get there tags for the vehicles they pay taxes. If anything our goverment is making money. Illegals are working with many dependents and don't file taxes when they receive their 1099's. They would more likely receive refunds but being they don't file who keeps that money that is taken out of there paychecks?

I also heard not to long ago Sheriff Glanz stating that there will be not raids. The most concern is people who are in our jails. Well that would be fine but it's not true. Just yesterday there was a raid at Walmart on Admiral. They also raided a constrution site on Admiral street where 20 people were taken. I do agree if a criminal is not legal he/she should be deported, but not innocent people. I believe it will turn into so many people discriminating against others.

I think it would have been fair to offer some type of amnesty or something to offer these people that have been here for so long to give them a chance before making them loose all that they have and all they have worked for.

People say that they are taking advantage of the welfare system. Well I can not tell you how many Americans are doing that now! You see so many women who are on welfare but still have men living with them while they are receiving assistance. I know personally many that do take advantage of our welfare system and they are not illegal. Some even work for cash and still receive assitance.

Oklahoma needs to focus on so many other things than this bill. Just for instance our emergency rooms. My mother was taking by ambulance to a locally popular hospital. We waited for 4 1/2 hrs. with her in the hall way on a bed and not be attended. We made the decision to take her out of there because we could not get no one to help her. Luckily she was ok. This was on a Sat. that she was taken to the E.R. I asked the nurse if this was a busy day for them and she said not this is a typical day. So I am thinking if this is just a typical day what would happen if our city would need medical emergency response? You see the fire dept., police dept. practicing procedures in case there were ever any state emergency but in reality if there were such a thing so many people would die due to lack of medical response. Oklahoma needs to wake up and focus on so many other issues that are more important to our citizens. Our bridges are falling and still nothing is being done!!!

I think this bill is such a big mistake. We won't see the loss now but we will be losing so much because of this ridiculos bill. I hope and pray that something will be done to stop this bill because our communities will be losing. Also we need to stop blaming illegals for frauding when in reality American's are they ones that are taking from us not them.

These legal immigrants make some of the best Americans there are. They have to learn the language, they have to have background checks, they have to pay their own way, they have to take a oath that they are no longer loyal to the country they came from, they have to learn about the USA etc. Illegal aliens have done one of two things. They have shown no regard for the USA or its borders and said " the HE** with this country and their laws I will do as I please" or they have overstayed their visas when told to leave. I have included a copy of part of the immigration law I will post at the bottom. You will notice the words "any citizen of any country ." Think about these words. Does it say latino? Does it say Germans? Does it say "people from Japan?" NO IT SAYS ANY. The laws apply to everyone.

Demand. Two issues on demand that relate to this issue. The US population continues to rise. Resources are not unlimited the more people the more pollution the more energy is needed and so on. We need to ask ourselves if we want quality or quantity of life here in the USA? We can probably take ALL the worlds people that want to come. But if we do that no one will want to live here. Again take gas for instance just ONE--- JUST FOR EXAMPLE. Why did the price of gas go up? It was due to demand and low supply. Our resources are not unlimited. Demand for work. The same applies to the workforce. Construction that Americans have done all along is being taken over by people who should not even be in this country to begin with. Wages have gone down for many fields such as manufacturing and construction. We are told there is not enough workers to fill jobs. But what happens if you are a employer and not able to find workers? YOU RAISE THE WAGES. But instead we have seen wages go down. This is because employers hire illegals who can undercut any American worker.

US citizens are very giving and forgiving. But we will not be taken advantage of. When you come in our country illegally its a problem. When you say you have a right to be here and demand citizenship while you fly your home flag and speak your language its a bigger problem. Why has this become a latino issue? First there are illegal aliens from other countries here. But do you hear Germany or Japan or England defending illegals in our country? Do you hear German groups called "the race- La raza" defending breaking our laws? LULAC La raza and so many others are instead of telling their people to come in legally trying to defend their actions of breaking our laws. Right is right wrong is wrong. But here is a quote from Mexico.

“We strongly protest the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government that have only persecuted and exacerbated the mistreatment of Mexican undocumented workers,” he said. “The insensitivity toward those who support the U.S. economy and society has only served as an impetus to reinforce the battle … for their rights.” President Felipe Calderon

He also reached out to the millions of Mexicans living in the United States, many illegally, saying: “Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico.”

Why is the USA standing for this? Yes Calderon it is "unilateral" because ITS OUR COUNTRY WE DO NOT HAVE TO ACCOUNT TO YOU!!

But there is some progress. A latino group called "you dont speak for me" is a group against illegal aliens. They speak the english language and they fly the USA flag--ALONE. They see their people not as THEIR FELLOW RACE but as ALL Legal American citizens. They are true Americans. Mexicos remarks on our illegal immigration are enough to fill a book. But they fail in seeing its not up to the USA to care for THEIR people. Our governments job is to look after our citizens. But while we are at it how does Mexico handle illegal aliens in its country? They are felons. Here is a little bit.

Mexico has a single, streamlined law that ensures that foreign visitors and immigrants are:

in the country legally;

have the means to sustain themselves economically;

not destined to be burdens on society;

of economic and social benefit to society;

of good character and have no criminal records; and

contributors to the general well-being of the nation.

The law also ensures that:

immigration authorities have a record of each foreign visitor;

foreign visitors do not violate their visa status;

foreign visitors are banned from interfering in the country's internal politics;

foreign visitors who enter under false pretenses are imprisoned or deported;

foreign visitors violating the terms of their entry are imprisoned or deported;

those who aid in illegal immigration will be sent to prison.

Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:

Foreigners are admitted into Mexico "according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress." (Article 32)

Immigration officials must "ensure" that "immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents. (Article 34)

Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets "the equilibrium of the national demographics," when foreigners are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when "they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy." (Article 37)

The Secretary of Governance may "suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest." (Article 38)

Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)

A National Population Registry keeps track of "every single individual who comprises the population of the country," and verifies each individual's identity. (Articles 85 and 86)

A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)

Foreigners who sign government documents "with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses" are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)

Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)

Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico -- such as working with out a permit -- can also be imprisoned.

Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

"A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally." (Article 123)

Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)

Foreigners who "attempt against national sovereignty or security" will be deported. (Article 126)

Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:

A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)

Remember the remarks made by Mexico on our immigration policy? Remember those people who are SO PROUD to be mexican they wave no the USA flag but Mexicos on USA soil? I say lets try these laws here in the USA word for word.

The USA gave a promise in 1986. We were told that if we allowed amnesty to the 2 million illegal aliens in the country it would not happen again. Well here we are. Our borders are not secure and we have 12-20 million illegal aliens here again. But since that time Congress has given 5 amnesties.

For the second time this year, Mexican army soldiers have crossed into the United States and fired upon U.S. Border Patrol agents, leaving Border Patrol union members furious and demanding federal intervention.

According to L. Keith Weeks, vice president of the National Border Patrol Union Local 1613 in San Diego, Calif., two border patrolmen who had just disembarked from a "clearly marked Border Patrol helicopter" immediately came under fire from a 10-man unit of what appeared to be soldiers with the Mexican army.

In a statement, Weeks said the incident occurred Oct. 24 in Copper Canyon, about eight miles east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry. Weeks confirmed the contents of the statement to WorldNetDaily.

"It happened," he said yesterday. "These agents departed their helicopter and were immediately fired upon."
