KMYT not working in Windows 7 Ultimate Media Center either!!!!

I too am getting full signal and cannot get a picture on 41-1 or 41-2 KMYT-DT. Any ideas out there? Have we lost hope on this?

KMYT and Vista Media Center not Working?

Is anyone else having problems getting KMYT-DT (over the air digital) to work with their Windows Media Center? It shows full signal strength, but when I try to watch it all I get is black.

Channel trouble

What is wrong with my41? Ever since it went to digital it hasn't been the same. The Peoples Court is always messing up and Judge Alex does too. We just bought a big screen right before Christmas and I have a converter box for the T.V. in the bedroom so it has to be the station. Sometimes during Judge Judy on fox23 it does it but not near as bad as my41. I have the new digital antenna as well. Is there something that could be done other than change the channel?

I'm speechless right now as I just watched the best concert venue that has ever been put on TV.

In Concert never came close to what CONTROL ROOM Presents has done on MY41. Absolutely the best concert production I have ever seen.

One can only hope that CONTROL ROOM Presents is a permanent show on MY41 as we witnessed the Lenny Kravitz performance this evening.

Walmart Destroying America

I watched the Walmart-High movie last night and was appauled at the way Walmart makes their money. Anyone with a conscience could not set foot in that store if they saw how their employees are treated, both here and overseas. In the movie, American Walmart employees testify that they are made to clock out and continue working; are not paid a living wage; and are given information and encouraged to apply for food stamps, WIC, and state healthcare. And obviously they get away with not having to obey the same Wage and Labor laws, and EPA laws that other American Business's have to obey because of the millions they contribute to our government each year.

Oh and those good deals we get at Walmart, are due to their manufacturing factories in China, where the workers are required to work 12-14 hour days for $3.00 per day which keeps those workers in poverty as well. Then there are those factories Walmart owns in Bangledash where they also provide a dorm for those workers to live. Sounds great. huh? Just wait. The workers who choose to live in these dormatories (which are in a state to be condemed) are charged rent and utilities, and locked in at night. If they choose not to live there, Walmart still deducts rent from their pay. And the best part, they are paid $0.13 - $0.17 cents per hour keeping them in poverty. Those workers all said in the movie they want Americans to think about the true cost of the great deal they are getting. The product is made for .17 cents and sold for $14.95. What a profit? And in the process they are drivng down American wages and destroying small business.

HOLLYWOOD, CA - On Tuesday, March 4th the Catch the Fever Music Festivals announced at its press conference from the historic Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, its lineup for the 2008 festival taking place July 10-13, 2008 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Over 84 bands will be performing on three giant stages throughout the four days.

The press conference was hosted by Eddie Trunk, who can be heard on XM’s Boneyard Channel 41, VH-1 Classic and is syndicated throughout the nation. In attendance was Bret Michaels, front man of Poison, all of Warrant featuring Jani Lane, along with members of Cinderella, LA Guns, Enuf Z Nuff, Beautiful Creatures, Night Ranger, XYZ, Pretty Boy Floyd, Vain, and Lynch Mob.

The Rocklahoma Press Conference was heard live on XM’s Boneyard Channel 41, as well as streamed on Wyldside Radio.

The initial lineup on the main stage is as follows:

Thursday (Pre Party for those who have bought three day tickets) Bret Michaels, LA Guns featuring Tracii Guns, Enuf Z Nuff, Vain, House of Lords and Jet Boy.

Friday: XYZ, Armored Saint, Kingdom Come, Night Ranger, TBA, Triumph and TBA.

Saturday: Pretty Boy Floyd, Every Mother’s Nightmare, Tora Tora, Black N Blue, Trixter, Kix, Warrant featuring Jani Lane and Cinderella

Sunday: Axe, Beautiful Creatures, Zebra, Lynch Mob, TBA, Tesla and TBA

Additional bands on the main stage will be added in the upcoming weeks. Lineup and bands are subject to change.

Two side stages adjacent to the main stage feature over twenty-eight regional artists on each stage.

The Retrospect Records stage includes the following bands: Jester, Sidekixx, Pair-A-Dice, Front Runner, Tommy Had a Vision, Valor, Gypsy Blue, Whitefoxx, Blue Tiger, Wild August, Messang, Paul Shortino, Mariah, Warryor, Bad Candy, Lorraine, Nasty Nasty, Real Steel, Cuttlass, Vyper, Mass, Bad Candy, Oney, Strikeforce, Herazz, Reckless, Heartless, Ron Keel, Warryor and Alibi.

The other stage has Texas Hippie Coalition, Karnevil featuring Dario Lorina, Dirty Penny, Crooked X, Gypsy Pistoleros, Sweet FA, Banshee, Gods of Kansas, Lipstick Magazine, Pownd, Shadowside, Mindflow, Warmachine, Asphalt Valentine, Krucible featuring Lance King.

It's bad enough that STARGATE SG1 has been moved to 1am, but now, you don't even show STARGATE ATLANTIS; what's up w/ that. A group of us, used to make that a gathering time, to get way from the crazy life that we have in the military, to watch those 2 shows.Now, we're just reduced down to only one of them and sometimes, we don't even get that.

Do, you plan on returning those shows to there normal times of 11pm and midnight or are you going to keep them in limbo?

And when I mean group, I mean 22 military members, both men and women, and those that have spouses or other family members w/ them. Then we go off to bed and sleep happy dreams or either to work either on base or our civilian jobs.

Whoever is doing the programming for MY41 sure knows what they are doing.

Unless it's sports I seldom watch TV but I have found myself watching MY41 because of the quality of programing, especially the movies.

It reminds me of WLS (I think that was the name) out of Chicago many years ago. A cable company out of Denver had to buy them just to get their programming off of the air because it was ruining their high dollar stations ratings.

Just want to say thanks to MY41 and let you know we're watching!

My41 Request Line

Ok, here's the deal. On Saturday nights us baby boomer's are left at home to watch OETA movie classics. My grandmother, rest her soul who has been gone for over 20 years wouldn't find enjoyment in them.

We've come to a time that us baby boomer's need Lawrence Welk replaced with Rock of the 60's and 70's, as the late night movies need adjustment as well.

So on behave of all baby boomer's I ask upon My41 to provide us this form of movie entertainment. Saying that, we're not Elvis groupies nor are we any form of bubble gum movie addicts like Any Which Way But Loose or that Bandit nonsense.

For we are Renegades, yep.......we live for the spirit of Lynard Skynard and not the Petula Clarke tripe.

So here is a few of my movie suggestions for a Saturday Night with the Baby Boomer's:

Vanishing Point
Walking Tall
Billy Jack
Macon County Line
Deliverance
Porky's
Up in Smoke
Clockwork Orange
Mahogany
Apocalypse Now
Butch and Sundance (Trinity's would work well for westerns too! )
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Boob Tube

....anyways, there's a hand full of them but never ever show a Rocky movie. If that happened, there wouldn't be a TV left for a baby boomer to watch on.

This would also increase the sales in Tulsa of Beer, Wine, Brownie Mix and Rocky Road Ice Cream........not to mention Chicken In A Biscuit and Cheese Whiz.

These are merely requested from a beloved watcher of My41 needing something more on a Saturday Night.

41.2 VTV schedule ?

Using an outside Antenna I pickup 41-01 KMYT .. but I also get 41-02 .. it shows up in my giude as "VTV" - I have tuned in and caught the occasional great old movie playing at various times over the past few weeks.

I came here looking for some kind of braodcast schedule or information about that channel .. but can't seem to find anything .. anyone know anything about it or know where I can find more information ?

I'm sure by now you have heard that this Friday, June 15th, at noon, a 1957 Plymouth Blevedere Sport Coupe will be unearthed. Then later that evening the unveiling of the Belvedere will take place at the convention center, revealing the contents. Being a huge Oklahoma buff, I personally think this is really cool. I wonder if the car will be in good condition or rusting? Do you think this is something most Tulsans will get behind or do they not really care? What are your thoughts as we get closer to the Centennial celebration of our great state.
