Star-Kist Tuna's headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi's home district.

Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi.

Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan workforce.

Paul Pelosi, Nancy's husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.

In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition's.

Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an 'economic development credit in American Samoa'.

Pelosi has called the Bush Administration corrupt'.

BOYCOTT, EMERGENCY!!!

There is a possibilty that the week of OCTOBER 5th, 2008, 2009 or 2010. We the PEOPLE will have a HUGE SURPRISE, from the government. Be prepared. There is a possibilty that this ELECTION WON'T really HAPPEN. This ELECTION needs to be BOYCOTTED. The only way to nonviolently discredit an illegimate government is to refuse to VOTE. This is the ONLY WAY we can prevent a "STOLEN ELECTION." It's been done in Africa, Cuba and Batista, and it worked. The American people during this unprecedented crises of Merrill Lynch and Lehman is that one of their top economic experts, Wilbur Ross, chairman and CEO of WL Ross & Co., is now warning that over 1,000 U.S. Banks are nearing collapse, and one of their top economists, Nouriel Roubini, of NYU's Stern School and RGE Monitor is further warning that there is already a "slow-motion run on retail banks" occurring nationwide." (there is more, but people need to check out, what is really going on.) The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy may occur sometime in late 2008. www.dprogram.net www.whitehouse.gov/omb.memoranda.fy2007/mo7-13.pdf Executive Order #13438 http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/07/20070717-3-html ,,,,,You will need to search on a couple of sites to find info. www.NSPD#51 ......

A licence to create human-pig embryos to study heart disease has been issued by the fertility watchdog.

This marks the third animal-human hybrid embryo licence to be issued by Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and the first since the Commons voted in favour of this controversial research last month.

An HFEA spokesman said it had approved an application from the Clinical Sciences Research Institute, University of Warwick, for the creation of hybrid embryos. The centre has been offered a 12 month licence with effect from today, July 1.

The effort at the University of Warwick is led by Professor Justin St John. "This new license allows us to attempt to make human pig clones to produce embryonic stem cells," he said, where embryonic stem cells are able to turn into the 200 plus types in the body.

We know who his associates and friends are. We know who and what has been preached to him for 20 years. We know that his site "fight the smears" uploaded a forged birth certificate. We know that he votes "present" the majority of time when he is not "absent." We know how he defines "life" and it is NOT in a living breathing baby that survives a partual abortion if that is not "life" I do not know what it is. We know that he is shameless, opportunistic, and a serial flip flopper. We know he is the DNC's marinette whose strings are still being pulled by the dirty Chicago politics. There are so many unanswered questions about Obama that make him scarier. Just remember his unsavoury past, crooked dealings, with his friends, to purchase his mansion, his drugs, and so much more that hasn't been uncovered, yet. Obams is a pocket MUSLIM with terrorist sympathies. His cover goes way beyond acceptible. Don't forget our FLAG, that he didn't SALUTE, and know excuse that he wasn't thinking about it, the same for the PLEDGE of Aligance.

The SwissMiniGun is the size of a key fob but fires tiny 270mph bullets powerful enough to kill at close range.

Officially the world's smallest working revolver, the gun is being marketed as a collector's item and measures just 2.16 inches long (5.5cm). It can fire real 4.53 bullets up to a range of 367ft (112m).

The stainless steel gun costs £3,000 although the manufacturers also produce extravagant, made-to-order versions made out of 18-carat gold with customised diamond studs which sell for up to £30,000.

BISHOPVILLE, SC (WIS) - After a nasty surprise Thursday morning for one Bishopville resident, she's wondering if the "Lizard Man" is back.

Dixie Rawson of Bishopville sent WIS News 10 an e-mail about a big surprise she got at her home Thursday morning. "The whole front half of our van is chewed up. There are bite marks right through the front grill. Both sides of the van above the wheel wells were bitten and the metal is bent like a piece of paper."

It reminded Dixie of the local legend of the "Lizard Man" that stretches back for decades. Now some are wondering if the Lizard Man is back.

The legend blows in with a brisk winter wind, sending chills through neighbors in Lee County.

"I couldn't believe it, I just couldn't believe it," says Bob Rawson. He looks down at the blood and claw marks on his van. "He literally bit, you can feel where he bit straight through here."

http://www.wistv.com:80/Global/story.asp?S=7948448&nav=0RaP

Need fast reply - Maybe Marlin the Wise can answer?

Here are the statements in question

I knew what she meant by using "Oklahoma" and
"law" in the same sentence, but I thought it was from the 1930s and was
in reference to the "Okies" of Oklahoma and that it meant something
like "no law at all." But Madeline says it's from an earlier time and
she probably knows, but I've also seen it used in books from the 1930s.

"Oklahoma law" is an archaic term meaning "oddball." I've seen
it in old books and newspapers from the 1800s. The article said that the judge based her ruling on federal privacy law as it pertains to
medical records and I can see why someone would consider that "oddball"
because privacy ends at death. - <strike>Madeline</strike> I crossed out the name so you can't see who wrote it :-).

I need a fast reply to correct this as I may be banned from the group, I fired off a "You calling me ignorant?" email. I never heard of it.

Has anyone heard of "Oklahoma Law" referanced this way? Or am I correct to refferance them in a fashion with dead sheep?
It's like kissing everybody at the party!

Eww! Double dipping just gross, study confirms

‘It’s like kissing everybody at the party,’ researcher says

The Associated Press

updated 6:27 p.m. ET, Fri., Feb. 1, 2008

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Keep an eye on the salsa this Super Bowl Sunday: A researcher inspired by a famous “Seinfeld” episode has concluded that double dipping is just plain gross.

“That’s like putting your whole mouth right in the dip!” George Costanza was admonished on the show after he dipped a chip twice at a wake. That’s not too far off, said Clemson University professor Paul L. Dawson.

Last year the food microbiologist’s undergraduate students examined the effects of double dipping using volunteers, wheat crackers and several sample dips. They found that three to six double dips transferred about 10,000 bacteria from an eater’s mouth to the remaining dip sample.

“I was very surprised by the results,” Dawson said in a telephone interview Thursday. “I thought there would be very minimal transfer. I didn’t think we would be able to detect it.”

The professor said the students’ research didn’t get into the risk behind such a bacteria transfer, but they got the idea.

“I like to say it’s like kissing everybody at the party — if you’re double dipping, you’re putting some of your bacteria in that dip,” Dawson said.

The results of the research are scheduled to be published in the journal Food Safety within the next six months, he said.

The reason stated was that it would allow parents to educate their children in schools with a wider variety of choices in curriculum and since charter schools usually concentrate on specific areas of education, the children will have an opportunity to study subjects they could not in public or perhaps even private schools. My question is this, how do you feel about sending your child to one of these schools?

Dating Age

At what age would you consider a good age for a teen girl to date? Not just in the "yard" but inside. Last night there were some 13, 14 year olds running around my apartment complex until 1:30 in the morning. My daughter is 14 and she has to be IN the house when it gets dark. If those street lights are on and she's not in here there's hell to pay. On school nights she's in bed by 10:00.

I carry a big martial arts stick to protect us from the stray dogs. Many times I have had to threaten dogs on the street they live on when they charge us. On the 5000 blk of 29th west av. there are two seperate houses the dogs jump the fence and come running.Other times I have seen a pack of three dogs running through carbondale park.

we have quit walking down 25th w avenue on the 4500 block because one household lets thier pit bulls run loose after 5:p.m. They have no fence and thier dogs have left the property to chase people and other dogs. Last May thier male dog bit a child and animal control was called. When the officer arrived. The dogs knocked the screen out of the window and charged The owners did'nt come out until an officer told them their dogs would be shot. They were ordered to chain animals and the male was to be muzzled and both dogs were to be spayed and neutered in 20 days time.

Niether got spayed or nuetered. 20 days later the people, knowing animal. control closes at 5p.m. are still letting the dogs run loose and the female might be pregnant. On another evening my daughter and I were riding bikes on the 4500 blk of 29th w avenue when a doberman mix attacked her bike. Ijumped off mine and threatened the dog with my bike.

the owner came and took the dog and led her away. never said a word of apology. Her nieghbors said it was a standard practice for them to let the dog roost in the front yard.

My point is, the way animal control works, is if the loose animal runs to their fenced yard thier hands are tied, unless the animal has bitten or attacked. They cannot fine the owner unless the owner answers the door to accept the ticket.

:This problem is just another crime happening in Tulsa. But unlike carjackings and armed robbery it is getting little notice or care by authorities

A woman was attacked by three pit mixes in west tulsa on september 19th . She was walking to work. Fortunately her injuries were not severe. Can our city not crack down and have a dog patrol
