I am New to the Forums here. I hope to get to know others on here. I moved here in the middle of January 2007 in between the 2 major storm systems of ice and snow you had. I moved from Fort Worth, Tx. I live in Bartlesville at the moment and have been considering maybe moving to Owasso. I am not really sure just yet.

This really great idea came to me and I wonder if someone would actually do it. There are so many reality shows on, but what if a show like The Simpsons got people from everyday walks of life, with a picture and incorporated them into their show. A dfferent person each week. They could run some kind of contest and make an everyday Joe ( or Jane) a cartoon special guest. That would be cool.

It was just a thought. I get all kinds of ideas, just thought I'd share this one.

Just thought I'd check out the forum.. It seems pretty nice so far.. I guess I should tell ya a lil about myself.. Im an olfogy of twent five..LOL and enjoy pretty much everything there is to enjoy about life.. I get up in tha morning taek a shower go to work then stay up till two so I can watch tha News:) I know I know.. Pretty awesome but I still find time to do what I do in my spare time..The weather is awesome as of late and I'd jsut like to say thanks..Seriousley.. but on a more seriouse note.. Whats up with tha Peanut Butter commercials....ding ding.. Definitely... That wasnt my idea..LOL Either way jsut wanted to say I love tha Show..Keep up tha goodwork:)

Oklahoma has a multi-million dollar industry that goes virtually un-noticed, and not taken advantage of, nearly often enough, but by a select few. Hunting leases on private lands, are bought and sold routinely ,No tax dollars are collected, and millions of acres go un-leased,for some reason or another,usually by an un-educated land owner,Oh yeah Oklahoma has lots of public hunting lands, if you want the hassle, take the risk of having left un-attended vehicles burglarized, and gear stolen.Churches, large corporations, and private companies, even from out of state., lease partials of land for their members, OSU even recommends a price of how much to charge per acre. In Neighboring states, private land holders,encourage hunting practices, for all types of damage control, we are way behind the times,a heritage common among us, will soon be lost as the younger generation, are not taught the values of, custodians of the forest,The cost of hunting tags, permits,licenses have continually gone up , but the regulations have not kept pace.A more relaxed view is sorely needed,as the population grows,costs affiliated with hunting continue to rise,Look around Oklahoma, or be left by the way-side.

Hello. My name is Brian. I'm a 56 year old disabled veteran. I have four adult sons - two disabled due to borderline retardation, one disabled due to tramatic brain injuries sustained when he was ejected from a car and it flipped over and came down on his head, and one just off of disability for borderline retardatiion doing well at work and at home (I always told him retardation just meant slow in developing - not stopped). All four are currently living with me.

I am an agnostic - meaning I believe there is a purpose for all life and that purpose is to live and to continue living. Logically if there is a purpose for life something intelligent had to create it, just not necessarily as expounded by the Bible. I also believe that, once given life, what you make of it is up to you. Given that, I chose to believe my purpose in life was to help my children (and their children) continue to live - so I do not do drugs, drink, party, or spend excessively on myself. I do however, smoke. Yes, I know - it's bad for you. It is the one thing I allow myself that I shouldn't.

And that's enough about myself.

Originally I logged on to try to find out more about a news survey (or poll) that I thought I saw on Fox 23 on/around 5 June 2007. It posed the question of whether the person(s) surveyed believed in (or had faith in?) the Oklahoma DHS. The answer (95% did NOT believe in the Oklahoma DHS) was not that surprising since my sons and I have had our own difficulties with DHS, but I was trying to obtain more information about what/when/where news program did the survey. Does anyone out there know?

Hi to all of you! I'm Mike, I'm 15 years old and I watch the news along with my mom before school starts, kinda weird, but I do. I live in McAlister, Oklahoma. It's great here, aside for the huge ice storm stuff..we didn't have lights for 1 week. My mom and I had to go to my mom's friends house to get these heaters so we could stay warm. But yeah, Uh, I love to do anything, right now I'm wanting to do drama class and I also sing as well, my main two passions. I plan on going to California when I turn 18 to try and pursue my dream, I already told my mom about that and she was happy for me, but was sad that I thought about moving away and stuff, lol. Anyway, I'm a perfectionist from when I was like 12 years old. I don't know why though, I always want everything perfect and in place and organized...but that's just the way I am. Ok so this getting pretty big, I just want to say Hi to you all and hope everyone is having a nice and awesome time, where ever you are. Oh and the reason I joined this forum was because I saw stuff about the idol chat and I never though the fox23 site had a forum so I was like, ok kool! So that's about it for me, hope to get too know everyone here....hopefully someone my age comes here too! lol
