Ask anyone on the street what the Yield sign means and they'll tell you- One of these three answers- Slow and merge into traffic whenever possible. - Punch it and pray! - Just go without looking.

Which of these do you do? In fact a majority just step on the gas and expect others to allow or make room for you. The yield is to the incoming merger and NOT to the traffic already moving down the road. Learn it Tulsa- Yield doesn't mean Punch and Pray!
