Bonuses are for those that help a company to excel and turn a profit. Under their current circumstances the company has neither excelled nor has turned a profit, in fact the American Government (All of us taxpayers) are having to bail them out and yet they have the audacity to pay bonuses to the execs; What wrong with this picture besides EVERTHING?
This whole deal just reeks of greed and corruption. If Mr. Obama had any respect for the American workers (those that pay taxes) who will be the ones footing the bill for the bailout; he would insist on a full and complete payback of all AIG bonuses and demand full resignations of all AIG executives, I my mind prison time in a maximum security prison would not be out of the question.
