American's Badlands is the greatest wealth boom and is secretly underway.  Bakken's massive reserves, has access up to 500 Billion barrels. Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada, Wyoming, and South Dakota. 1.( Williston Basin.) The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil.  The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion. Because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16.00 per barrel. That's enough crude to fully fuel American's economy for 41 years straight. Montana lawmakers resently passed a bill that creates an 18-month tax holiday for oil wells drilled and completed in this area.  EXXOX, GAZPRAN, CHEVRON and CONOCOPHILIPS, are the oil companies doing the drilling. I read a report on the news that if we started drilling NOW it would be at least 4 years before before we would actually see it or a price cut.
Bernie has land on the Blackfoot Nation in Montana, it took 3 years to get the paperwork done for the company to get permission from the Govt to drill.
He then found out his nation would get next to nothing off the drilling rights and refused the deal.

Let's face it, it's never coming down.  Just going up.  Our government cares nothing for us.

The government will tell you that there is a set tax price at the pump and that is true. But what they're not telling you is they have two percentage taxes they get off of oil before it hits the pump. They are making billions every day as these prices soar.

Very true, and gas isn't the only thing that our government is lying about. Our "ECONOMY" is more than at stake, we're in for a "TERRIBLE SHOCK."  America, will be lucky to survive till 2012, the way things are going. Have you all checked out Obama's website and how much he's spending, before he even gets in office, that is, if he makes it their. Check the things out in his own words, also.. But, gas can go down, and it will still go higher, before it drops a few dollars. Currently, the United States does not have a shortage of domestic oil and gas reserves. Instead, access to our nation's reserves in parts of Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, other public lands and offshore areas have been placed off limits. Had President Clinton not vetoed ANWR 10 years ago, we could be domestically producing 1 million more barrels of oil today in an envirnmentally friendly way,cutting gasoline prices directly at the pump.etc... As a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, I am committed to this issue. Please know that as I continue to participate in committee hearings and meet with my colleagues in an effort to work toward a solution, I will keep your thoughts and concerns in mind while I work to promote positive legislation that will benefit all Oklahomans. That's exactly right, it's all a bunch of HOG WASH!, to satisfy us for the time being.. Look at California and how their economy is showing a drain with the fires. What can we expect next? Small wages, more lay offs, higher prices on costs of living, you name it, and it's going to happen.. Next Iran will be BOMBING America, and we'll be a broken country, no food, water will be a waste, but don't eat the fish when the water gets bad. These things will happen before 2012, I bet my life on it. We need to do some thing NOW!!  Look at the disasters already in America, the costs of these disasters are way out of hand, our governments over spending has us, TRILLIONS of dollars in debt already, how can we not be headed for worse times?(cricket)

I don't know, but phone calls and e-mails to the government are apperently not working.  I mean, what goes through their minds.  Do they actually believe that everytime they tell us they're looking into it that we're just going to keep believing and leave them alone.  I'll tell you what, do something about it.  Produce results, and we'll lay off.

Yep, that sounds good, but what will happen is: the government will change the Constitution so we can't write or picket them, then they'll go to court and have their way with us, like they did with the Bible in schools Displayed in public places or to beable to be out side and preach in a group. We are getting like the NAZI'S. A few percentage of people over-ruled us on the Bible, so our hands are starting to be tied, we need to act fast, or wake up to a different world, that we won't like.. Oh, Marlin, I couldn't find the BOK item, but I'll still keep looking.. (cricket)

They will begin aquisition for domestic oil when they are no longer making a killing on Middle Eastern oil, but that is never going to happen because our oil barrons are the ones running the government here, and they are all in bed with the Middle Eastern oil barrons, not to mention most of the oil companies are now owned by middle easterners anyway. You had better learn to be really self sufficient real quick because with California being destroyed by fire we are losing about 50% of our food supply. Then we have the floods in the middle of America where our wheat, potatoes and most of our dairy and meat comes from. We haven't begun to see the effects too much yet, but just wait a couple of years, the Potato famine in Ireland will look like a small problem  in comparison. Just wait until several million people go to the store and there is no food to buy.

Actually it is the SHELL OIL Company, off the Mexican coast that is ripping us off. They are filling their pockets with our hard earned money, and probably laughing their heads off at us.. (cricket)

When Y2K was approaching,  I had some coworkers  ask me if I was stocking up on food and water,since  I have a "survivalist " attitude. My response was ,"No, but my neighbors are.....I'm stocking up on ammo."

yea, it's going to come down to who has the biggest and most guns.  Anarchy will rule our country.  All that money that the government has screwed us out of will not help them.  The gun toting anarchists will gun them down first for the heck of it.  Too bad they can't see this coming.
