Music by any other method is .... normal!!  At least for me.  I am getting used to using an iPod Nano.  Nice little piece of technology, though.  Now I need a new car that is set up to interface with iPods without all the wires and attachments.  That's next on my "to get" list.

All this iStuff sounded like an Apple-only discussion and I initially overlooked it, but...

It's not uncommon to find aftermarket car stereos with a USB connection nowadays.  You can plug an MP3 player (including ipod) and use your car stereo to navigate your records, or just load up your music onto a thumb drive (USB Flash Memory Drive for purists) and  tuck your portable device safely away from burglars.

I got one similar to this one

to replace a favorite Sony with 10 front panel presets (that but the dust).

Out of the car, my MP3 player is my mobile phone, so I have my MP3 music without having to deal with iTunes or any proprietary BS from apple.

  Yes, seems like everything has to play music these days,my friend has a toilet seat that plays the old Tom Petty song, "Can You Smell That Smell"  when you sit on it.

A singing toilet seat? LOL Now that's just nuts! Ipods and all that stuff freaked me out at first. I mean, I am still explaining to my daughter what an 8 track and record album are for gods sake!

Yeah, quite a surprize when you aren't expecting a singing toilet and you are just a bit tipsy........lets just say that thing has caused more than a few premature departures from the bathroom.
