Re: cori baker killer stay in jail
LOL, he DOESN'T get to go free. A judge ruled he can go to trial for 1st degree murder.

So, what evidence is the judge allowing to continue the charges? Is it due to stating that he killed Cori, even without a body? When a person claims that they killed some one, it's usually a while after the case begins, but he claimed his guilt right off the bat. I feel he's guilty, but feelings isn't a charge, I'm sure the law has more proof to go on, but they just aren't saying anything. (cricket)

Re: cori baker killer stay in jail
The way I understand it is, is because he's black. They have more circumstantial evidence in the Stacey Peterson case, and Drew is still walking free. They don't have DNA evidence, that was "Inconclusive". They have some "Eyewitness Testimony". This places him as the last known person with her, not a murderer.
After about five hours of testimony and
a dozen witnesses, the judge decided there was enough evidence for
Bullock to face trial for first degree murder. <snip> Both of Cori's sisters, including the
one Bullock shares a child with, took the stand against him. The
middle Baker girl testified that Bullock drilled a peep hole into her
room and spied on her. Courtney Baker, the oldest sister and Bullock's
girlfriend, says he told her to lie to the police for him. <snip> Over four days, the detective says
Bullock gave them four different versions of what happened the day Cori
disappeared. He says in one version, Bullock claimed he and Cori were
at the Arkansas River horsing around and Cori fell in and drowned. <snip> http://www.newson6.com/global/story.asp?s=8029646

I don't think it has anything to do with his color, it sounds like they do have some evidence, story changing, sisters statements against him, and the horsing around really sounds fishy, if they were supposedly fighting in the car in another area, then ended up at the river, where she supposedly fell in and drowned, doesn't make sense, sounds like he either took her there to dump her or to finish killing her. Since the police was unable to find her body in the areas that he told where she would be, shows that he is playing a game with the law, he knows where she is and as long as they can't find her, he feels he can get off. This is a case where if they try him and he isn't sentenced, they can't try him again for the same charges. (cricket)

Re: cori baker killer stay in jail
Looking at the Baker sisters and eyewitnesses. Here's a ditty back in N.Y.
There was a brutal slaying of a "Hopkins" girl. This sick person, just cut her up as he said no one liked her. Now this was a small town community, but it had me laughing my butt off. The very first day a camera crew showed up, just one. Everyone they interviewed said she was trash and no one liked her. Knowing the Hopkins family, I kind of figured there was some truth. The news of a murder in a small community, spread like wild fire. Day 2: They released why she was murdered. Still, she was nothing but trash and kept to herself. Day 3. There were a ton of camera crews, from like 9 stations. All of a sudden, the same people, who said she was trash were crying like babies saying how much they "Loved her". I was on the floor laughing so hard I couldn't breathe! The funeral was the next biggest joke. The students held a candle light vigil. The most vocal students in the very first school interviews, the ones that said no one liked her and called her trash. Were crying, hugging and wiping there snot on each others shirt collars. They were remebering all the "Good times" they had with her. Granted, I haven't seen it to this extant, with the bakers, but it makes me wonder how many "Media Witnesses" we have.

Re: cori baker killer stay in jail
This has nothing whatsoever to do with his color. To even say that is so racist, Drew Peterson is in California isn't he? I is so wrong to judge the way they handled Bullock by what is going on in another state, O.J killed two people and still is free, and you don't get too much blacker than him. He will get out of these latest charges too. In case you haven't noticed, Tulsa has quite a lot of black cops, and they are not afraid to raise bloody he** if they think anything racial is going on, ask the City of Tulsa about the 5 year lawsuit! Bullock is as guilty as sin, just asking for an alibi before Cori was missing is enough to convince me, but there is overwhelming evidence even without the body. I hope they fry his sorry a**, he is a punk who thinks he knows the law and they can't convict without a body, he is a liar, it wasn't enough to destroy a 13 year old girls life, but he is playing cruel games with the police and the family of that child he killed.

Re: cori baker killer stay in jail
Peterson is in Illinois. I referenced him as that is one I could remember off the top of my head. There were 3 other cases going on about the same time to. How about the Ramesys? Congdon? With bullock, I am going by what the news reports, the police, and OCIS have released on the matter. If he was white or black and rich, it wouldn't have went this far, plain and simple. The police said the DNA was inconclusive, so what do they have? 4 different confessions and some eyewitness's that saw him with her last. Oh, yeah, and some hearsay to. I think he's guilty, but I also believe that Justice should go by the LAW and not a loosely knitted Lynch mob to make the public happy. Unless they have a Magic Hat, it's been proven time and time again, they won't be able to convict. So this little rush to "Justice", could possibly set a killer free. The Judge last month or before that, said, take it to trial or set him free. A bunch of motions and they decide to try for a conviction. Something about this case stinks to high heaven.
I for one, will not sit here and go all ballistic on someone saying there guilty because of a news report on a website or t.v. Even you said, "I think there were other people involved". So lets throw away the key on Bullock, stop finding evidence, and if there was anyone else involved, let them walk to kill again. Justice is served after all.
In conclusion, and the last thing I will say about it is, Yes, I think he IS GUILTY. But at the same time he is being railroaded and that is not justice. I for one, will not or ever, judge something on flimsy evidence.

I never said he wasn't guilty. I AM SAYING this case does NOT ADD UP. There is to much speculation going on. 1. Did he act alone. 2. Where is the body. 3. Where is the evidence. 4. The judge told the prosecutor around the end of Jan begin of Feb, to either let him go or take it to trial. So apparently any evidence is shaky at best. If he did it, goes to court on shaky evidence, and he winds up getting let go, Where's the Justice for this poor girl? If he didn't do it but was directly involved with her death, and other people where to, and they get to remain free, where is the Justice again? Yes, he picked her up, they went to Walmart, people saw them fighting. I refuse to under any circumstance, to say. "O.K. he was with her, thats all we need, lets fry him". Sure, he confessed. Where is the poor girls body? He can't seem to remember where he placed her. Is he protecting someone else? If this is the case, than there is ANOTHER MURDERER out there. Or is it "O.K. we got one guy, that's good enough". I for one was appalled when this case was quickly scuttled in the news because it was a 13 year old girl. Maybe it is just me, but this case is raising red flags everywhere. I for one, am not quick to rush to judgment. I think there is way more to this than anyone realizes. You all can hang and fry him for all I care. Cori Baker needs Justice, I agree. But lets not get all the evidence, we may be looking stupid for it later.
