When the lights go out. . .watch out!

My best friend and I decided that we would go to Creek Nation Casino yesterday afternoon just to have some fun and spend some time together.  We walked in and immediately went to the restroom.  While in the restroom, the power went out.  At first we just thought that someone turned the light out on their way out the door and we started making jokes that it was probably someone with an OCD about turning off the lights.  We didn't really worry until another lady entered and we asked if she could turn on the lights.  She replied that almost the whole casino was experiencing a power outage.  So this leads us to safety rule number one for the ladies:  DON'T LEAVE YOUR PURSE HANGING ON THE HOOK Of THE DOOR.  My friend hadn't even thought about this, but then it is not very often that you are going to have a power outage at the casino.  When we finally finished our business there, we entered into the casino to find a winning machine!  It was quite a site!  There were individuals patiently waiting at their seats of luck and just staring at their machines to resume play.  We found two seats together between two ladies that were still waiting for their machines to begin at any time.  This is where Mr. Scam Artist/Future Inmate to Feed and House on Taxpayer Money enters into the scene.  He tries to intimidate us and says "These were my machines and I was here and just walked away for a minute before the lights went off."  He carried on about these being "his" machines.  Being the very outspoken woman that I am, I was starting to grow tired of his relentless babbling to my friend, turned to him and said "What's the problem?"  He then started carrying on about he just got up for a minute BLAH BLAH BLAH!  I then responded with a very sharp "What's your point?"  He bowed his chest towards me (oh, i'm so scared! lol)  "I want my seats back because I have money to cash out on these." he said.  I stood up and told him "Chest to Chest Bud!  You just messed with the wrong woman who was just terminated from her job this morning!  By the way, you obviously are not gifted with common sense!  Why would you get up before the lights went out and leave your machine unattended with money in it?  Oh yeah, just how much money did you have on your machines?" Before all of this occurred, the ladies next to us had whispered that he was never at these machines.  So I was fully aware what he was up to.  I told him that if he did indeed have money on the machines that were "his" we would gladly give it back to him right after security checked the cameras to verify his winnings.  To basically sum this story up because I know that you know where this is going. . . he was being watched by security and removed from the casino when they found him trying to pull the same scam on some women in the other end of the building. We also reported to casino workers, security, and supervisors that three ladies sitting about five machines away from us were with this guy.  They quickly straightened up their act as well.  Although, I know that this is more than likely a very rare experience to have a power outage in a casino (which we later found out was due to a transformer blowing up somewhere).  However, I would like to commend all the employees, security, and supervisors of the Creek Nation Casino for maintaining a safe and calm environment.  They did a wonderful job and were very professional.  They also took care of the "Scam Artist" that didn't quite have his scam together!

There are losers who go to the casino only to scam on people and try and steal their money...in some cases people get hurt.

Recently there were two women who were followed home from casino, they didn't even win much money...but these guys followed them to their house and stole everything they could, I believe one of the women were assaulted.

    Freaking bastards!!!!!!!!!!

Re: When the lights go out. . .watch out!

I have heard of that happening before which is why we are always careful when we leave the casino. . .and we never win anything BIG! lol  However, it seems that I am a prime target for some of these deadbeats.  I am very "girlie"!  I like make up, enjoy sporadic giggling, and appear very feminine, but they are in for a shock with me!  A guy I use to work with said "To look at you is so deceiving!"  When I asked him why he said that he replied with  "You look so sweet and girlie like, and you are into such foo-foo things. . . .then you open your mouth and the complete image is gone!"  lol  I couldn't help but laugh, although a more sensitive female may have taken this as an insult.  I told him that i just had "street smarts" and a little bit of the childhood tomboy in me.  I think this is what has kept me from being a victim of an assault.  I honestly think that the guy at the casino thought I would feel intimidated, like alot of women do when approached by a strange male aggressively.  I'm not going down without a fight!  I hope they caught the guys that followed those women home and incarcerated them with some really big guy who has been in prison for the past 15 years and is in dire need of affection!

Well with a name like Doberman Diva I'm not surprised that men feel a littl intimidated by you.

I'm glad you guys stood up to that freak.

Re: When the lights go out. . .watch out!

I'm really not mean!  lol  In fact, I am quite the people person.  I got the name Doberman Diva because I had a Doberman that I just loved so much and just loved that breed anyway.  Now I have two Chinese Crested puppies, you know the little dogs that are bald and just have the hair on their head, feet, and tail, but "Chinese Crested Diva" just didn't have the same ring to it. lol  I just don't take anything off anyone if it is undeserving.  Some people like to say I am just mouthy, but I like to call it "outspoken and assertive".  Okay, I admit. . .I am mouthy!  lol  However, I really think that if more females were like this instead of being so passive, they would realize that it can be to their advantage and sometimes their safety.  Of course this is just my opinion and keep in mind that I have told my good friend on numerous occassions "Someone is just going to beat me down someday if I don't learn to keep my mouth shut!"
