    One of my hobbies

Aside from computers being a hobby, my other hobby that I really enjoy is creating Bonsai trees.  Anyone else out there ever like to create bonsai Trees?  This is a bonsai I created from a garden azalea.

hmm...not really. I need some and I've been wanting to get into gardening. I'm getting into cooking, and decorating food. Hostess cupcakes, and strawberries koolwhip, cereal, cookies, peanuts, etc...very fun to play with.

Now, I think I want to get into the whole bonzai trees thing, that looks cool, plus, I can pretend I'm mr meaggi (however you spell his name) on Karate Kid hehehe..

I'm wanting to go rock climbing. So, if you know of some good places to look into that? I like riding my 3 wheeler, so I'm all down for 4wheeling, gocarts..

Cooking can be fun if you really like to eat!  lol  I got started creating bonsai trees about 15 years ago.  I went to the library and checked out every book on the subject that I could find. After I devoured them, I found a few books that I wanted to buy, so I did that.  Next, I just began buying different plants and trying out the different techniques of growing them, wiring them, and pruning them.  Some lived a long time, and others didn't.  When one would die I'd go out and buy another garden plant that looked like it had promise.

I was training a couple of red maples outside in smaller pots and they got through about 4 years of training but last years harsh winter killed them, so, but it didn't kill my juniper that I'm training now.  It's gone through 2 winters thus far and putting on new needles now.  :)

Bonsai is an art, but it also can lower blood pressure and calm your spirit when you are working on pruning their leaves or wiring their branches.
