Oh I like to make up my own statistics just like everyone else does.  But really just look around and see for yourself, it was good to see good old white boys working.  To bad they were from other states and not our own.  What didn't you see the news that City of Tulsa is asking about 100 workers to skip vacation for Christmas and Omar my buddy interviewed some of camera and they were not happy.  Geez our city workers {Americans} don't have to go out of the state, they can go home in the evening and they are complaining.

 

Tell me somthing Echo if you had their job would you complain or just do it.  After all we are Americans and we don't want others coming here to do our job.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Illegals are our "Escape Goats" if someone losses their job they blame the illegal or if a business goes down they blame the illegal.  How about the person taking responsibility for being lazy and not doing their job.  This past summer some guy was complaining that illegals were taking his business and his work was slow.  So I looked up his name in OSCN and guess what he had lien against him and he didn't pay for his insurance.  So who would want to hire him with a bad rap.  I wouldn't.

That's extremely interesting, did they say how long they were able to practice slavery after they moved their slaves and plantations to South America?

 

England had abolished (or attempted to) their slave practice in the West Indies 50 years before the slaves had their freedom here. This was one of the reasons that America was popular for this practice during that time period.

I really truly wish I could remember, and I remember them saying that some years after they moved there to continue their lifestyle that eventually it became illegal to own slaves there as well.  They even pointed out that the city they moved to was still called the same thing, been trying to think of it for a couple of days, and google has let me down

Let me break this down for a few on here, since I have been attacked on here a few times in regards to how I feel about the immigrants. Caring for a stranger and opening up your heart to the empathy of other's suffering is one of the deepest strengths of human society. It is that empathy that has led to the end of SLAVERY, and that may one day lead to the end of the persecution of immigrants, and the world's poor. It's a HUMANE TRAIT that we should all have, but I was raised to love one another, regardless. I have compassion and sympathy for the illegals, yes I know they needed to become legal first, but since they didn't, I cannot turn my back on them.  American's will come to the aide of people in distress in a heartbeat, not every American, since some don't have a heart.  Look at the Iraqis!, they want to come here and they are coming here in droves, they want a better life, they want to feed their families and educate themselves, and be safe, their government is corrupted also, can you blame them for wanting to get away?, it's easy to set back and say they need to do something with thier government, but Americans don't understand what it's like to live that way, they have it too easy. Look at the United States and how much in debt we are, well, all you people that think it's so easy to fix things, fix our governments problems. (cricket)

I forgot something. Immigrants across the world are moving, the Iraqi migration highlights that. Just like Mexicans, Indians, and Algerians, Iraqui's are moving for complex reasons. They are moving multiple times, and they are moving with consideration of their families, work and future stability. Migration isn't an anomaly of the poor- it's a fact of life for us all and it's time for our government to improve the lives of those that act on that human fact. Slavery is a form of the treatments that the immigrants go through. ( getting permission to leave a territory without explicit permission or needs a passport to leave.) Abe Lincoln signed the Homestead Act to make it easier for foreign countries to come to the United States, what message does that send to foreigners?
