Yes, the aunt did get arrested and I believe charged with something, but I don't remember exactly what.  She is serving time for her part in it.

Additional lawers have been added to the hispanic case to stop HB-1894.  Martin Perez is one among 100 reconized as the most prestigious constitutional lawyers in America. He is a Civil Rights lawyer in Virginia. Twenty five others of the legal defense fund are also being consulted. Attorneys representing Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry and Attorney General Drew Edmondson have asked Payne to dismiss the lawsuit, offering what many legal observers feel to be nothing more than a series of flimsy claims designed to postpone the inevitable striking down of the law.First the state claimed that the lawsuit should be dismissed because it was filed before 1804's implementation date of Nov.1. Henery and Edmondson believe the suit should be dismissed because no-one has been arrested yet. The two elected officials also feel they should be removed as defendants, even though Henry, as Govenor, signed the divisive bill into law and Edmondson, as Attorney General, is responsible for it's enforcement. " These Defendants have no connection to this statute," the motion for the dismissal mysteriously maintains. Claiming that the plaintiffs cannot establish that they or anyone else has been harmed by HB 1804, Henery and Edmondson assert that living under an unconstitutional law is not by itself sufficiently injurious to warrant overturning such a law. This idea is viewed by critics as being not just absurd, but unconscionable. " These are elected officials, who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution," a spokesman for the plaintiffs said. CONLAMIC's national President Rev. Miguel Rivera has called for the bill's author, Randy Terrill (R-Moore), to resign from office for sponsoring what Rivera feels is frivolous and immoral legislation. (note:) this is the latest on the Federal Court dealings, in case anyone wanted to know.  (cricket)

Have you read what Terrill has been saying.  How happy he is that more Hispanics are leaving.  Everytime he talks its against the Hispanic people.  The bill might not be racial, but the aurthor of the bill sure is by what he says.  If he wasn't racial he wont mention a certain race.  Here is the website to that story.

Thank you, i am a family member of the little boy who got killed while mowing his lawn. and yeah nobody has done anything about it. I have nothing againts black people but if it had been a mexican who would have killed another little kid. They would have done something about it, why do people only see what hispanics do?? why dont they first take a look at their race then look at ours. First take the time to change your self  before you try to change somebody else...

Why make this a racial issue? If the person driving the car would of been white they'd of thrown the key away on that person. I don't here any white people on here saying what you are.

I'm sorry if I sound insensitive but good grief, we got 1000's without power still in Tulsa and all you can talk about is Hispanic agendas that you all brought on yourselves. Get a grip, your making my nose drip.

I think she is trying to say that if Fabian would of been killed by a Hispanic.  Everyone would of made this into an illegal issue regardless of his status and it would of still been a racial issue.  I don't think anything happened to the kid that did this.  As far as the aunt I don't know either, but if someone has a link to the article of what happened to her.

Yes you are insensitive good grief, 1000 people with out light.  What about the parents with out a childs life.  If you are a parent put yourself in their shoes and think about how it would feel to have your child at an early age taken away from you.

I hope that you were just having a bad day and lashed out at someone that is already beat down.

Geez its Christmas and the family is one member short and all they hear and read is hate towards Hispanic.

My family is a father short, killed almost three years ago when a WHITE guy ran him down on his motorcycle.....and nothing happened with it.   Lots of families are celebrating the holidays with a family member short....so don't even play that card.

That girl that killed that little boy is in juvenile jail.  If i remember right, she's there until she turns 21, which by any standards isn't near long enough for what she did.  And I believe it was a 13 year old black girl that did it.  Her Aunt is in prison also for handing the keys over to this young lady.  Even though the punishments don't fit the crimes, they are being punished for what they've done.

i think the bill is the best thing thats happened to oklahoma! if they want to be part of our country then they should abide by it's laws. pay tax like the rest of us! our hospital has become a hispanic clinic.if you need emergency care you cant get it for the mexicans!our class rooms are crowded by their kids and our own children suffer because of this!! they dont speak our language so you can not communicate with them. most have a drinking problem and are disrespectful to our women and leer and say things to them! we are better off with out this low life influence!! go home and apply the correct way!!!we would do things the correct way if we were going to move to canada.

Re: State Law 1804 (Immigration Bill)

All you people who like to bring in the KKK and the fact that we DO have American born criminals, I think we are all aware of this fact, the thing is, like I said before, it takes an average of 16 months to go through the process of citizenship application, if we hadn't been simply overrun with illegals who apparently think it is fine to just run across the border into another country 1804 would not have been necessary, so if you want to blame someone, blame yourselves. You all need to go on up north and TRY to run across the borders of Canada.  Americans have always and will always resist invasion, with or without the blessings of the government, you can take that to the bank.

Re: State Law 1804 (Immigration Bill)

Yes, the steps one has to take to become a citizen are enormous but anything worth having is worth waiting and working hard for.  I'm sure if one takes the trouble to go through the process to come here legally the chances of them doing something illegal are greatly reduced.  Why go to all the trouble to just screw it up?!
