The sales tax rate in Tulsa is now 8.517%. When I make a purchase the tax is rounded to an amount closer to 9%, so that is what we are actually paying. If the tax is an additional 1%, we then will be paying almost 10%. If that is done, how about removing sales tax on groceries (food only).
