How to post an Event on the Community Calender

    How to post an Event on the Community Calender

    If you wish to have your event listed in our community calendar you will have to join the community.

    The good news is if you have already joined our site, to play a game, or enter a contest, you can use that username and password to get started here in our FOX23 Community! Just click on Sign In in the upper right hand corner of the screen, enter the e-mail address and password you used to enter our games and contests.

    You will be asked to check your e-mail to get a code (this makes sure that you are giving us an e-mail address you own). Pick a nickname, enter your code from your e-mail, and you are on your way.

    If you haven't joined the site for anything before, click the Join link in the upper right hand corner of the screen, fill out the form. After filling out the forms you will be asked to check your e-mail to get a code (this makes sure that you are giving us an e-mail address you own). Pick a nickname, enter your code from your e-mail, and you are on your way.

    If for some reason you don't get your code message me with your e-mail address and I will get you hooked up!

    Now, to get listed in the Community Calendar...

    1. Once in the calendar section, choose "Community Events" from the Calendars box on the right hand side of the screen.

    2. Now choose "Submit Item" from the Common Tasks box on the right hand side of the screen

    3. In the title section, put the title of your event to be listed

    4. Choose the date of your event from the Event Date chooser (click on the little calendar icon to open a larger calendar from which you can choose a date) 

    5. In the message secion, put the details of your event

    6. Now click the "Details" tab (right next to compose at the top of the form) 

    7. Fill in the form with any of those details you may have.

    If your event repeats continue on otherwise skip to step 10

    8. Click the "Recurrence" tab.

    9. Choose how often your event repeats (daily, weekly, etc.) and the date the events will stop.

    10. Click "Post Item"

    Your item has now been submitted for approval! If approved it will show up on the date you selected!

    Revelation Revealed Truth Evangelistic Center located at 3321 North Lewis Tulsa, Oklahoma 74110 is hosting a back school event on July 25, 2009 from 10:00am-2:00pm. There will be clothing gave away that consists of school uniforms in the Tulsa Public School district; the Blue Cross Blue Shields Caring Van will be available for free immunizations to school aged children. MEND will available to provide counseling services for pregnant women and helps young women with positive abortion issues and health issues, Tulsa Community College, Tulsa Technology Center will be available to provide educational literature for High School student, and adults who want to continue their education. There will food, drinks, and door prizes. Please contact Tia Morgan at 853-4086 or Treva Frank at 407-3724.

    HenryFest, a community music festival, will be held at Skyline Farms in North Yarmouth, Maine on Saturday, August 29th, from noon until 10:00 P.M.  Join us for a day of music, food & friends.

    The Festival is the production of  "317 Main Street, Community Music Center" based in Yarmouth.

    The theme of this year's festival is "Rooted". Reaching out, rooted in.

    Some of this year's music line-up includes; Internationally known "Maeve Gilchrist, High Range, Joel Eckhaus and Jerks of Grass."  There will be a full schedule of music and festivies throughout the day, including an ultimate Frisbee tournament.

    Delicious wholesome food will be catered by the legendary:  Cookin' Carol".  A variety of baked goods, delicious deserts and local brews brought to you by local vendors.

    Tickets may be purchased at 317 Main St. and Ames Farm Center in (North Yarmouth).  Pricing for a family is $ 40.00, individuals are $ 20.00 and $ 10.00 for students.

    Note:  The proceeds from this years' festival will provide scholarships for students, who might not otherwise have the ability to experience the joy of learning music in a supportive environment.

    Grace United Methodist Church 45th Annual Fall 3-Way Chili Dinner and Bake Sale

    We are having our famous 3-way chili dinner and bake sale, which we have been serving

    our community for 45 years with great atomsphere and good food. Our patrons expect this

    event twice a year and it is a great time to meet old friends and make new friends too. Please

    come and enjoy some good fellowship and if it is your first time, who knows you might want

    to come back again and visit. We at Grace thank you all for your support and feel welcome.

    This event helps our church with missions for our community and surrounding areas.

    Our ladies of the church are also having a bake sale with pies and cakes and good snacking fun.

    Our location is 519 S. 49th W.Ave Tulsa,Oklahoma

    How to get here: take 412 West ( keystone expressway) to 49th West Ave Exit and turn left

    then follow 49th until you see our sign with 3-Way Chili Dinner.

    The cost is Adults $6.00 Children 12 and under $3.00

    The date is October 2,2009 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

    First Baptist Church North Tulsa  1414 N. Greenwood Rev. Anthony Scott pat4er is having their annual Black History Play titled This Train is bound for Glory Febuary 28th 2010 a 3:30 pm. 

    It is pot luck so everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.
