Do you see Oklahoma through the eyes of another culture? Tell us what it's like here!

Do my kids saying this looks like a third world country count?
Before they came down I had a really hard time explaining to them that just because Oklahoma is in the U.S. it's quite different.
Food - Since New York is more ethnically diverse they are use to having a wider selection of stuff to eat. This is NOT saying the little hogs don't like Oklahoman food, but the store they go into NY serves Asian, German, Hispanic, Italian, Jewish, Etc. (Washington state doesn't have the diversity of food but the quality is better). Oh, were all in agreement, these "Coney Island Stores", those people should be pistol whipped, tarred and feathered. We wouldn't feed them hotdogs to our animals!
The slowness completely caught them off guard. They finally learned what "Stop and smell the roses" means.
They were quite shocked at the overall general politeness and friendly attitude. They consider the parks and museums more "User Friendly", than NY.
They just loved all the churches (as we went in to quite a few).
Overall they love Oklahoma and wish to come back next year. Still, there is no place like home.

Ok, jd4fox23 and kindagreywolf. Someone has to start this language post, so here is a start. First we need some symbols to correctly use another language.. See if either one of you can figure out what this is: Habrá que ordenarse de otra manera.......  Hay que ordenar los recibos por fecha.......  I will tell you on the next time I'm on here, tomorrow.
