    All-David Finale?

Alright -- it's David vs. David -- basically how many of us thought it would end! Do you think the best two are in the finals? And what are your predictions?

Some fan polls have David Cook winning -- but David Archuleta has the "tween" vote, and they will dial hundreds of times!!

Like the Presidential election - contestants, judges and former winners are giving their endorsements. On Team Cook: Jordin Sparks, Bo Bice, Simon Cowell; On Team Archuleta: Elliot Yamin

I am SOOOOOO sick of David A.  I do want him to win it though.  That way David Cook isn't tied down to the horrible songs that AI winners have to sing on their first album.  This way he can do his style of music.

I'm sick of David Cook.  My mom doesn't like him either.  I wish it was David A. and Syesha for the finale.  Syesha is like 100 times better than David Cook.  I think they should do a recount/redo.

    Re: All-David Finale?

David Cook has paid his dues.  He deserves this. Syesha is not a pop singer.  She is  a performance artist and will be great on Broadway or Vegas.  She is wonderful, but I never thought she fit the Idol package as it has been set up. So, that may be why she didn't make it to the final two.  As for little David, he needs to win more than David C. does.  David C. probably has been approached by record producers from all over.  All three will do well regardless. However, little David needs guidance and maturity right now, and not the "guidance" his dad has given. If he has the right agent and producer who can market him correctly, he will be a sensation.  But, he still will need the exposure that the title will give him.  David C. is a great guy from what I have heard from those who really know him.  One friend said, "He is a great guy with a huge heart."  Another said that he is not "smug" nor is he "arrogant" as some have said.  He is just very comfortable in his own space.  I wouldn't be surprised if he "threw" the whole thing tonight so young David will win. (I say this because he is the odds on favorite to win according to Vegas, and Simon himself last night on the Tonight Show said he deserves to win. David Cook  himself said  that he wouldn't mind, "...taking the silver to Archie's gold".  Pretty great thing to say!  Too bad both can't win.
