David Cook is truly a winner, no doubt about it. He shows stage presence, passion and originality in his vocals. This exhibits Americal Idol qualities. I agree, Marlin, that Syesha has talent and beauty. Broadway would be her calling; that's how I see it. My opinion is that she blew it in her song choice of "Fever." Not wise to display a sexy routine around a chair in the finals. As the judges said, when you have the last opportunity to showcase your OWN talent and originality, don't blow it. No longer is it about "having fun", but it's about staying in the finals to win. Have to disagree with you, Marlin, on David Archuleta. The young man's vocals are strong, always on pitch with an awesome range. I could see him singing musical scores for motion pictures. He is one of the few contestants that paid attention to critiquing and put the suggestion into action. I'm referring to opening his eyes and connecting with the audience when he sings. His eyes are beautiful and it worked. Whatever the outcome tonight, my vote was for David Cook.
