Brad Henry's Superdelegate vote for Obama?

I was recently shocked to here our Gov. announce (as Hillary won Pensyilvania, lol)  that he was giving his superdelegate vote to Barack Obama. Which is very shocking considering Hillary Clinton won our state in a landslide victory. When I spoke with Gov. Henry's office the morning of the announcement I was simpley told  "it was his decision to make."  now as a realist I can see that this election will probobly wind up brokered at the convention, however I also believe it is up to us to let our voice be heard by our local government in order to make sure that our will is indeed done.  any help on this would be much appriciated, and not letting it be swept under the rug would nice.

Might just email the Gov. and ask him if he has bothered to read Obamas books, if not, he needs to read them before he throws support to him.

I'd like to see Brother Henry start attending Mr Obama's Church and see how well his support is appreciated. Or it might be safer for him to check their website out first:  http://www.tucc.org/about.htm

Ya know, I am not really mad about supporting Obama, what I am mad about is our Gov. going against the will of his people on this.  as far as I am concerned he can support Obama all he wants, but as far as that delegate vote is concerned, it belongs to who we voted for.

Yep, can't understand these people eager to support and vote for him when he obviously has no intention of representing anyone who isn't black, and in his book clearly states that he will stand with the Muslims. All I can say is all the idiots who haven't taken the time to read his books and find out how he REALLY feels had better be ready to live under Muslim rule in the very near future. Dumb A&&es, I tried to warn people about Bush too, and no one listened, we are the stupidest country in the world I swear!

Re: Brad Henry's Superdelegate vote for Obama?

Brad Henry   vs   Obama = MUSLIMS!! I mentioned Obama's book awhile back, he even dislikes WHITES, we don't need someone like that running our country.  Yes, America needs to read his book before November elections. I, also feel that if you attend a church for 20 years, you can't say you don't know what that preacher  feels, especially from what the preacher stated, you know that hate was there all along.  I've been afraid of Obama from the beginning, with his fast talking, and jumps over issues to fast. It's all about HIM. Listen to him. He skipped to WE NEED A CHANGE really fast, cause he played along with the people, he knew how people felt about BUSH and the WAR issues, so he turned it to the change, of course people want a change, but we want it for the better, not the worse. I feel that Brad Henry did an injustice to, not only Oklahoma, but to all the people that voted for him. We need a government that isn't going to RAT us out, every time they wish to be noticed. Brad Henry has something up his sleeve, just watch. Obama is really sly. Like I;ve said before, I'd vote for Marlin, or myself, before I would vote for OBAMA.. (cricket)

I am not one that would vote for Obama. Not because I think he is racist or anything like that because I dont, I just dont think the world is ready for a black President yet. I dont feel that he would last very long.

I was watching a debate that him and Clinton had, he studdard too much and isn't good under pressure. That scares me....I dont think he is ready him self for the White house, maybe a few more years down the road. Not now........

I vote for Hillary all the way...........I want BUSH and any other Republican out of office. I have had enough of everything....Bush has done so much damage, I hope the next President can fix it.

The world would vote for a Black President, since Obama has received so many votes, but he isn't the one to be ELECTED, he has too much hidden in his past, to be a good President, he would rat America out, there would only be one race that would be allowed any rights. We have gone to far in trying to end rasists in America, to have him turn everything totally around. (cricket)

I dont agree with you Cricket, sorry....I dont just look at him as being black and not being ready for him because of that or thinking he is going to change the world to his beliefs.. I just feel as a man, he isn't ready to be President, not because he is black. Also I dont think the world is ready for a black President, there are still too many racist people.

Mrs.PR, it doesn't matter if he's black, the issue is, he would be a TERRIBLE president and seriously BAD for our country. Maybe in some ways, America may not accept a black president, but when they do, let it be someone worthy to stand in the HIGHEST office with PRIDE and have ALL of the American people in their heart, and for the well being of the whole country, no matter what color their skin is. OBAMA is not that man. OBAMA is for AFRICA, the AIDS infested country, which is their own fault, that they have the AIDS. We have children and elderly people here, that has no cures, we have poverty and homeless people here, we have children that can't afford schooling, take care of America so we can become stronger, then we can help others so much more, we have VETERANS that are unable to get medical, after fighting our wars, take care of them. This has nothing to do with color, it's to do with an individual that isn't worthy to become our PRESIDENT. (cricket)

He has almost no experience, as a state senator for a short while, then about 1/2 term as a US senator, that isn't nearly enough for me. He is a liar, but that isn't unusual for a candidate, he said things in his books then since he decided to run, has said entirely different things. I have a real problem with the fact that he publicly refused to salute the American flag, and to wear an American flag on his lapel, add that to the doctrine of the Trinity Church, the fact they swear allegiance to "Mother Africa"  not America, and that he refused to denounce Louis Farrakhan, who is an  awful, troublemaking, narrowminded American Muslim leader, but has since loudly denounced Rev. Wright,  I just don't see how anyone can want to vote for him. My ex and his girlfriend are totally for Obama, sad, stupid  uninformed people, they will rue the day!

Re: Brad Henry's Superdelegate vote for Obama?

I think we got a little off track, the real issue here is:  are we really going to let our own govenor give away his super-delegate vote against the will of his constituants?  we (as an entire state) voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton to be our candidate for president.   and even if it is his right to choose how he votes, it is up to us to make him think about the consequences of voting against us.

I see, you know at least she isn't an elected oklahoma governor.  and btw who are the other 2?  also, why do we have unelected delegates?  (if this party survives for another term I will be very surprised.)
