    Re: Marriage Equality Demonstraton

ok...the word "marriage" should apply to 2 adults, female or male, end of story...anything after that should have it's own category, call it farriage, narriage, garriage, warriage or whatever & it will apply to any union other than the standard "marriage" situation...my personal opinion is anything other than the "2 adult/male or female" union is not suitable...

no under 21 years of age marriages - if 2 people are in love & want to get married but they are only 18, too bad, they must wait until they are legally old enough, if they are in love they will still be in love when they are older, if they aren't, well it's a good thing they had to wait   OR  someone under age gets pregnant, too bad, they still must wait until they are legally old enought to marry...

if someone wants to marry their goat, well go to the country where this is legal...

no 3 or more person marriages, that is not a marriage, that's called a harem, well go to the country where this is legal...

Two-Adults-Male-Female = Marriage...everything else is called a smarriage & has no legal standing or right to be recognized anywhere

you know there more i think about it, maybe we should just leave it alone, marriage should stay as it always has...if a man chooses to have a man as his partner or a woman chooses to have a woman as her partner, feel free to do this, but this won't be recognized by society as being legal....

IT"S JUST TOO MUCH TROUBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, I have a few times. Once in NY I was refused a job because an employer had to reach his "Color Quota". I was like "Whoa". It worked out as I found a better paying job.
Had a bit of a medical snafu with Medicaid. I was trying for 4 months and kept getting the brush off. Finally, the case worker informed me that due to the budget they were doing single moms first, then minorities, then families and since I was a SWM I was at the bottom of the pole.
I have also noticed that if Males have custody of the children, the courts deal with woman nonchalantly. When I became ill, I gave custody to my daughters mother. The court system took me to the cleaners over one missed payment, even though her mother owed me $9,000 in back! Neither one of us went after each other, it was the courts. Not sure if thats common down here but in NY, hold on to your pants!

LOL, so yeah I feel discriminated against :-)

So no offense, on the gay marriage thing, but live with it!

There are all sorts of 'special interest groups' who want THEIR piece of the pie, too!!!  Why are you being so unfair, prejudice, and uncaring by not wanting everyone to marry by whatever combination they so choose? <grin>  After all, they have rights, too.. don't they?    :)

You know, I just had to laugh out loud, literally, when I read the part I underlined.  That was posted with the emotion that I could definately understand!  :)
