In two of Obama's books that he has written, take your pick if you want to VOTE for him or not.. This is before his pastor came forward.. The first book: "From Dreams Of My Father."  1.I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites. 2. I found a solace in nursing a prevasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race. 3. It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names. 4.I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela. Yep, read a couple of his books, everyone should read his books if they are planning to vote for him, but people are so lazy and blind, they will just go out and vote for him, God help us if he gets elected, I have no doubt he is serious when he says he will stand with the Muslims, I don't think the political winds will have to shift to bring that about, it is sad the things people consider acceptable these days, even electing a Muslim to the most powerful office in the US. Oh  well...guess that will end the war in Iraq at least.

It may end the war in Iraq, but the United States will never be the same again. This information needs to be sent all over the internet before the November elections, then people will see for them selves, that is the only way to stop him, and save our Precious country.. (cricket)

Hillary is just plum evil and nasty evil at that. Then there's McCain who is a floating Billboard for big business and will carry on the corruption that GW has left behind.

Marlin-you have known me for years, so you know how much research I put into making a decision.  I can tell you right now with all certantity, there is no one person I feel conformtable voting for in this election.  For those of you who don't know me, it is unheard of if I do not vote.  I even voted today in our local elections (I know many people don't) and am unfortunately watching my candidate lose. :(   I am lost on this presidential race.  All my research shows no one I feel comfortable with or anyone whose values are aligned with mine.  Alas, I don't know what I am going to do.

Not only have I known you for many years but your opinions are something that I weigh highly with respect.

When someone like yourself can't find someone worthy to represent the citizens of our great country, it speaks volumes of the problem we are in as a nation of people.

We've had this problem in the past with not having anyone worthy to vote for but never at a time when the dire straits we now live in have existed.

I think the worries of who to vote for are being shadowed heavily by what will become of us?

I think this is going to be a very unusual election year, a lot of people feel as I do, that there is NO candidate we believe in, and no one to vote for. I for one cannot bring myself to vote for someone I have no faith or respect for, It kills me that I won't be voting, I used to lecture others about not taking advantage of our right to vote, now here I am.......maybe we can find a sword in a stone somewhere.....

Thank you my friend ((((HUGZ)))) I truely appreciate that.  I do think you hit the nail on the head with your overshadowing comment.  That is the very reason I cannot vote for any of the three, I do not trust them because of where I believe they will lead this country.

Hello to; Sunshine, Marlin and patriot1947. I have said all along how Obama is not for the American people, so I have done a lot of checking into various things, to prove part of my point. Please see both of these websites, some of it will show you some of the things I have put on here. First off, I'm not the smartest, but I give it a good shot. I have been saying some of the same things about our Forefathers and our government that is on the second website.. We will vote for you Marlin!! I forgot the names, but Obama's backer, is being investagated for criminal activities, Obama also has several dealings with this crook in real estate also, and this crook raised over a million dollars to promote Obama, I'll try to find the article and then you can see it also.(cricket)

I'd turn that front lawn into one giant kegger party and the White House garden would turn into a pick your own pot patch. All the monuments would turn into sound stages for southern rock bands and I'd tear down all them worthless buildings on Capital Hill and replace them with a giant free amusement park.

......and yes I would allow skinny dipping in that giant concrete pond!
