Showcasing over 85 dancers, aged from 4 years to 50+. Many are local talent, but we are also blessed with dancers from as far away as Japan and Russia. And this year we welcome Andrea Diemmen, also of Friend University as our Prima Ballerina, Masha and Sugar Plum Fairy. The performance is be held on December 5th and 6th at the Tahlequah High School Performing Arts Center located at 951 Pendleton Street. Show times are 7pm on Saturday and a 2pm mantinee on Sunday. The Tahlequah Ballet Company is a not for profit organization, that is dedicated to promoting classical and contemporary ballet, offering performance opportunities to talented youth and adults, and enriching and involving the community through the art of dance. Tahlequah Ballet Company is the premiere ballet company for the Tahlequah area – drawing the most talented performing artists from nearly 60 miles away in the northeastern Oklahoma area. The ballet company emerged with a vision of talented area dancers from all schools of dance contributing to truly outstanding, local productions of classical ballet. Our Vision is to enhance the cultural and social environment of the community, inspire an appreciation of ballet, challenge dancers to achieve personal and professional goals, foster collaboration with local artists, develop a repertoire of classical and original choreography, and to seek diversity in our dancers, audience, and company.
