The award winning Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus is offering a major educational opportunity to the Tulsa community.  This summer the chorus will be offering free voice lessons to any women in the Tulsa area who wish to learn more about singing and improving their vocal quality.  
Through this six week workshop women will learn about all aspects of a capella singing, including:  posture and breathing, proper pronunciation of vowels, performance skills, using dynamics to enhance performance, range expansion, learning music, singing with energy, and more!  
The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus is an all women’s a capella chorus consisting of 22 energetic women.  The chorus enjoys sharing their love of music through educational workshops and performances throughout Tulsa and in the surrounding communities. All women who complete the six week vocal workshop will be invited to sing with The Talk of Tulsa on their summer cabaret show August 1st.
The free vocal workshop will take place on Monday evenings June 1st – July 6th at St. Dunstan’s church located at 71st and Granite (Between Yale and Sheridan on 71st).  The workshop will last from 7:00 – 9:00 pm each week.  The program is completely free, and is for all women in Tulsa and surrounding areas ages 16 and up.  To register participants should visit www.talkoftulsa.org or call Raye Friedemann (918) 899-9096.
