MEKUSAPVLKE  - A praying people, is a Muscogee Creek Church Photo Documentary Project about the spiritual beliefs of the people, and how faith is expressed in their daily church life.The photographs presented in this exhibit are visual narratives of moments shared. Each frame a poem, and each poem speaking to the perseverance and sacred beliefs expressed in song, sermon, and ceremony.
These photographs represent a small part of a larger story.  A story that shouts to the heavens, “We are still here – here as a people of faith, belief, and hope.”  Tom Fields, Photographer
